Challenge: Name positive things about Conservatives and Liberals. Can you?

In my opinion:

#1 Conservatives at least are not Liberals.

#2 Liberals at least are not Conservatives.

That's it. It's the only positive thing I see in them, smart people will get my point.

Since I technically do not fit in to either I can talk about both.

The thing is, I refuse to accept the nonsensical position that there are only two political positions Conservative and Liberal. In addition, I don't associate Trump or his supporters are Conservative.

Conservatives believe in a Constitutional Republic. Trumpturds do not. So let's start there. The Republicans at least in the beginning strongly believed in the Constitution and in the rights defined within. They were the ones historically who talked about the rights of citizens mattering more than any government body.

Then historically, the Liberals were the ones advocating for more government control and more government intervention. Because certain groups were not able to access these rights because of state or local jurisdictions. Then Liberals were always the ones thinking up big government programs for us to participate in that would help out certain others.

That's why I was a Republican.

Now things are all fucked up. And I can't stay with a party that is willing to take rights away from certain groups, because sooner or later, they are going to away mine. That would mean, we are no longer a Constitutional Republic. We would simply be another dictatorship/police state.

Pretty sure there is nothing positive about conservatism so to be more fair I will mention something negative about Liberals some really do like to complain at shit that don't matter then been also hypocritical with it.
An example would be a comedian making an dark joke just as joke 100% then some liberals complain and try to cancel them but south park does the exact same thing oh no that's fine.
Tbh I won't be shocked when some try to cancel south park and that will piss me off.
Dark humour is humour you don't like it, just don't partake. No need to complain about it.

Liberals: got women and minorities the right to vote, created social security, ended segregation, created medicare, passed the clean water act and clean air act.

Conservatives: kept liberals from going overboard on some things (but sadly didn't bother to get out of the way on most others)

Liberals: I can admire your desire to make social and legal change in our society in solving legitimate issues. I mainly disagree with their methods and in doing so, that makes me a Nazi to them lol.

Conservatives: I can admire the role of preventing nonsensical changes to preserve a civil society. I am just not impressed with their work so far.
