Thought I would never ask a question like this but seems like it is now genuinely something people now don't know.

Some people label a woman as an identity. You are only a woman if you choose to identify as one. You don't need surgery, although you can. A woman is just one of hundreds of self proclaimed genders and we can't assume someone is a woman.

Why do few of these problems exist in men?

You've got few trans males going through these sorts of "moral panics".

Mainly as most of them realise they ain't males. Sure males can downgrade to female in their minds. But being male is more than just believing you are.
