In my country it is fucked. When you work for just 200 unit money per day, maybe 6000 unit per month: but cars are starting from 200.000 and houses are starting from 1.000.000

In Turkey, we have %80 inflation.

%50 of my country earns minimum wage and minimum wage here is 5500 turkish lira which is about 300 dollar.

If you are a university graduate, a doctor, an engineer, or a lawyer etc you earn something between 500 and 15000 dollars approximately.

Even though our wages are low, everything is more expensive than the rest of the world due to taxes. Cars and electronic have around %100 to %200 tariff tax on them.

New iphone 14 pro max costs 57000 lira here (about 3000 dollar)

Ps5 costs around 15-16000 lira which is around 800 dollar. Normally 300-400 dollar in us and Europe.

Houses starts from 1000000 turkish lira (and these are the worst houses) and goes up to tens of million liras, sky is the limit.

Cheapest car here which is fiat aegea costs 399.000 lira (21.000 dollar). Volkswagen golf costs. Something like a volkswagen golf starts from 599.000 which is 32.000 dollar.

If you want something better like a bmw or mercedes. Entry level bmw 3 series starts from 1.700.000 lira (93.000 dollar). Same car costs 40.000 follar in other countries

Luxury cars like ferraris etc I dont even wanna mention. Ferrari f80 costs 18 million turkish lira (980.000 dollar) and this is actually a 270.000 dollar car.

Gas price is 19 lira per liter

A meal at an inexpensive restaurant costs around 100-150 turkish lira.

Rents starts from 3000-4000 and goes up to 25-30.000

Cars aren’t that bad, but otherwise it’s not far off here. Minimum wage is like 30,000 yr but it’s not hard to make 80-120,000 (before tax)

Good new cars are 25-30,000 and used 5-10, but a house around here is gonna be $1.5 million easy
