Are you happy with your current life?

Some things yes, but not enough. I have severe depression. Things are taking forever to happen and it’s frustrating to not be able to do much. It’s been ages since I dated anyone. I’m not meeting new people. I barely go out (once or twice a week) unless it’s work, and even that’s with my siblings or a few guy friends.

Work is taking ages to be successful, and the few jobs I get people wanting to be ultra cheap, and demand I do my work for 1/4 my price (I’m not doing that. I paid my dues for years with charity and non profits) it’s not any number they looked at that is reasonable, they just think I will do it out of desperation (unfair to me, unfair to other clients who HAVE paid).

But I finally have a few really good people as friends (three or four true friends). I like my job, I think I am sort of ok at it. I like being a creative guy, even though very few people seem to respect or understand any of it. I FINALLY have a little money. I have a little more freedom (I was stuck in an abusive situation for ages, and while I still have a lot of trauma, I think I am out of a lot of it).

Not really. I'm romantically lonely, everywhere I could move to is too expensive for my income, the apt house i live in has black mold that my landlord just covers over instead of removing, the income based living areas in town are in flood zones, my only vehicle is still not back up & running, im state locked so, i can't move out of Iowa, I'm still struggling with finding mutual attraction in dating, very rarely get matches on dating apps, my health wavers, im still dealing with spinal alignment issues (so I'm always stiff or in pain), and it is super frustrating when I have to ask for rides.
I'm still working on the stuff i can work on... but some of it i can't do anything about

Nope, I have money, I own my own house and land, I own my car and bike, I have no debt and my credit score is over 800 but I'm too awkward and ugly for people, so I'm a very lonely person despite being comfortable being alone. I don't have anything else going for me in life other that having a house and vehicles and credit.

No, I'm poor, live at home, have debt, every attempt to claw my way out leads to nothing, and I never had the luxury of having a partner. I went from being fully optimistic to just accepting that things aren't going to work like with most others.
