Why do women do almost everything better than men?

Better at academics, about 60% of college/universary entries.
Better at nurturing, showing empathy.
Better at managing finances.
Better at handling emotions.

And many other things.

At this rate it seems like us guys are better at opening the pickle jar, and thats it. 😂

Because we've spent decades reforming how women are treated and teach whole subjects on the matter. "Maleness", from a gender studies perspective, doesn't get much attention beyond blame.

Take academics. Women used to be WAY behind men not too long ago. We improved practices that helped women. But when women are doing better, we don't say "why are the boys falling behind", we say "Yay, that must mean MORE equality!" or at best say "Girls were just superior the whole time. Boys tend towards risky behaviors so it's in their nature to be inferior students." And act like that is any different from the academic misogyny that came before it.

We look at men's issues and say "it's just them whining about threats to their privilege". These groups refusing to grant others the same empathy they themselves demand. They'll look at the high male suicide rate and just say "it's because men are more animalistic violent bastards so they use more aggressive means" without taking half a thought into how strong the intent-to-die is in such suicide cases.

Most of the issues you mentioned are essentially self-fulfilling-stereotypes. We've known this about predominantly-black neighborhoods for ages: Treat people like criminals, and they start to take on the role.

My CO was a lady. She recently got promoted and is now a Lieutenant Colonel. I respect the shit outta her because she is really down to earth, respects her subordinates, and treats us like family. And she also excels in her position as a motivator, a decision maker and a leader by example. Very rare within the military, which is characterised by strict regimentation and suppression of personal freedom.

But you probably have realised that I did not mention specific professions... In all honesty I would be inclined to believe that ladies excel at a wider variety of professions than men do. Not to say men cannot do well in female-dominated environments, though. We have brains and we can learn.

That’s why I said in general. Really what we are discussing is the dif between the masculine and feminine. People are a mix of both masculine and feminine energy but we tend to feel comfortable being more masculine in certain areas ; it’s based on the individual. I think we are better in some ways and guys are better in some ways. I don't think girls are better at everything or even more than half of things I think it depends what you focus on.

I was doing some online reading and there were tons of sites stating that people generally preferred female bosses, citing better work life balance due to empathy from the female boss understanding the problems of juggling work and family, etc.

And also seeing statistics for higher education, women generally fared better than men. Could be because the sedentary style of teaching found everywhere may not be as suitable for males, but i dunno.

But one thing I always stand by, is even if one gender is naturally gifted at more things than the other, we can always learn.

But I am glad that whatever it is, us lads are still important, somehow. Granted, gender roles are not what they used to be, but I am inclined to believe we are still valued for a reason.

Well I will go through them one by one. So "better at handling emotions" yes we are better about not bottling them up but I think we also might find it harder to set our emotions aside sometimes so, that could go either way. "Better leaders" first I will say I personally do not prefer female bosses, in fact the opposite, second if women are better leaders then why do men lead so many things? "Better academically" yes I think we are better on average but not due to being smarter, just due to being more diligent which I think is bc guys are more rebellious and spend more time trying to get girls during that age range. I think there are two sides to every coin and this list just focuses on it in a certain way you could make another list with the opposite focus. There are also a lot of things it seems too obvious to say that guys are better at involving strength or fighting for example fighting off wild animals or chopping wood. Those things seem less important now but they still matter in many situations.

Its interesting when you consider the leadership conundrum actually. Because it is kind of true that women are less likely to be in leadership roles, due to a variety of reasons, including but not limited to: 1. Discriminative hiring/promoting, 2. personal preference and 3. societal norms and gender roles.

As for the education thingy, yes you make sense. But maybe there are steps we could take to get the lads to be more serious about their studies? I get that the lads mature later than the ladies, and I can see that very clearly (I am a few years older than everyone in my class). That really does contribute to the guys not taking their studies as seriously.

But objectively, in the context of modern day life, I find society to be more geared towards female capabilities than male capabilities. Most jobs nowadays (that are not low-wage jobs) do not explicitly require qualities that men have to offer, but benefit more from qualities that women exhibit.

I cannot emphasize this enough though: We have brains. we can still learn to be better people.

I do realise one thing. You mentioned something important about handling emotions. From what I have seen, men are generally better at setting aside emotions (and sweeping them under the rug, unfortunately), and seperating them from work. Women can do the same, no doubt. But I have seen more women act on a whim than men.

Then why aren't there many in leadership roles? And what makes you think women (aka: human beings) are not capable of corruption? I'm not saying they can't lead, but that there's not much incentive for them to be leaders. There is a reason women largely prefer men who are "dominant" and that take initiative. Because that's what men are biologically hardwired to do.

Women/girls generally are more easy to teach in a school/university setting, because they are naturally good listeners. Men/boys are more hands-on when it comes to learning. Perhaps this is why women might get better grades in school than the boys, but yet somehow, as if from nowhere, men are largely responsible for MOST of our technological advancements. Go figure.

I don't think you understand what it means to "handle emotions." Because both sexes are known to lose control or handle their emotions in two different ways. This requires a lot of explaining, which I won't do here unless you ask.

I mean there's stuff women can do better but you'd be pretty hard pressed to get three women in the same room who are better at leadership, handling emotions and being nurturing in the workplace of anything besides toxicity. Especially if those girls are above the age of 21 or live in a crowded area.

If you want to say that women are more organized then men are, then I'd have to agree with you. They also do a good job at keeping people on task because they can multi-task so well. And they're also great for customer relations in stressful situations. When a customer is upset or frustrated, it's usually much more effective to have a woman come in to de-escalate the situation, where a man might have had a much tougher time in the same circumstances.

Men have demonstrated throughout the course of our history that they are better leaders, with women being far more likely to make emotional, impulsive decisions, like starting war.

Women graduate college more, but men still out earn women, because women go into fields that are either unimportant, or simply pay less. They also don't contribute to infrastructure much at all. And when it comes to education and job searching, women have advantages in both, just for being women, not because they do anything

Single fathers out perform single mothers

Women make less money and are responsible for more consumer debt, because women make most consumer decisions.

Men have far better emotional control than women, hence why women often seem crazy to men. They break down and freak out over tiny little things. It's also why women prefer to work under men.
