The two major issues that most people care about is inflation and economy. The democrats thought they could run on all the anger about roe vs Wade being overturned. There is has been a big turn in independents who are favoring republicans.
But the economy/inflation cuts through EVERYTHING and Biden has been a senile calamity.
Chances are the republicans well take back the house by a long shot. The senate is trickier however. But there is so much animosity toward the Biden administration that many more conservatives are motivated to vote to block all his asinine socialist bs that resulted in skyrocketing inflation and soaring energy prices to begin with.
House of Representatives:
Republicans will take it over, but probably by a slim margin. However, a slim margin is all that is needed to pass things in the House. ALL seats in the house are up for election. States like Texas and California will keep voting the way they always do. It will come down to districts in battleground states. Most of these states have been hit hard by failed liberal policies.
Senate: Neither party wins. Republicans will gain the technical majority and therefore the Senate majority leader will be Republican. However, not enough seats are open that Republicans have a realistic shot at getting 60 seats, which is the number needed to defeat the Filibuster. Without 60 votes, nothing in the Senate gets passed except through Budget Reconciliation, which can only be used a limited number of times and MUST be financially related (meaning only bills that directly affect budgeting).
I do not know, but I do know we’ll have our very own gestapo here in the United States if the Dems win. Not that the conservatives will do much better.

Democrats won’t lose as many seats as expected because McConnell and McCarthy (who are fake opposition like the GOP’s DC establishment) are undermining the MAGA candidates as much as possible. They would like a narrow Republican majority without enough pro-Trump activists to cause trouble. There will also be “fortification” in some districts, just as shenanigans were obviously at work in the AZ gubernatorial primary. Now that the information organs of the regime demonizes anyone who points out highly improbable results from mail-in ballots to the extent that people who complain can lose their jobs, this will become a permanent feature of our “democracy.”
House - I'd be shocked if the Republicans do not take it. The current margin is super close, and historically the party that holds POTUS loses more than two dozen seats in the first midterm.
Senate: Although historically the party that has POTUS loses four seats on average, the Republicans have nominated dunderheads in some winnable states. I see anywhere from 52-48 Democrat to 53-47 Republican.
Of course any more bad news on inflation or fuel prices could easily cause a collapse for the Democrats, after which they could lose 40 or more House seats and 5 or 6 in the Senate.
Most recent info I'e seen shows control of the Senate being a virtual coin flip, with control of the House a 70% likelihood to Republicans.
Interesting side note. Early voting opened in Georgia earlier this week and turnout is HEAVY. About the same as 2020 (a presidential election year) But TWICE as many as 2018 (the last mid term)
Heavy turnout TENDS to favor Democrats, but who can really say?
@Ill_made_Knight In early voting, no matter where it is, Democrats seem to vote early more than Republicans, while Republicans and Independents tend to vote on election day. Heavy early voting doesn't really say much of anything w/r/t the election outcome.
@AviatorTom so if early voting is double the amount of the last mid terms? And early voting tends to favor Democrats?
Really though it's all just projections made by different groups... it sort of comes down to who's base is more energized... so as you suggest, who can really say
@Ill_made_Knight My point is that early voting turnout doesn't necessarily favor Democrats in the election, only that more Democrats vote early than on election day, compared to Republicans and Independents, most of whom vote on election day.
I think the republicans will handily take the house and barely take the senate by 1 seat. But I also think that some democrats will riot and start vandalizing and stealing again because of it. I hope more conservatives learned their lessons from the past and start putting their CCW to good use when the democrats riot.
Some political pundits predict a Republican takeover of the Senate and House, while others predict the Democrats will increase their majority in each. What that means is that no one knows how the fickle electorate votes.
My gut feeling is that both parties will lose some seats in both houses, and gain other seats, and after all the counting is done, things will be basically the same as they are now.
I really don't care as they all are fucking bastards... Both sides !!! While I agree with the social conservative arguments of the R party, that is the ONLY thing I agree with. As for D party, they are also a bunch of imperialists. For me foreign policy matters more than anything else. They all have their testicles in clasp of the "you-know-who"... ahmmmm... the "roaches" to be exact.
I can’t imagine people wanting more of the past 18 months.
It definitely has been rough. 😌
Just like Drew Carey’s famous tagline on the hit show whose line is it anyways, it’s all made up and the points don’t matter.
Republicans take the House and Sente and impeached Biden get Harris let her have her kudos as first woman, first black woman then she a lame duck
All Republicans
Impossible. Republicans probably will take the Senate by 3 or 4 seats at maximum.
But they will definitely take a bigger seats in the house of reps.
There's no Jesus Christ policies in this world politics because mankind is sinful at their core and imperfect.
Hell is wrong with you and your delusion trying mix religion with politics?
The ways of the lord are perfect, no man can't can follow the standards of the mighty perfectly especially when it comes to politics because not everyone is religious nor believes the same way.
Just the one philosophy of the Republicans to cut taxes and bless the rich with more riches and promote greed is covetousness which is idolatry before God which violates His 1st commandment of idolatry.
