False. Republicans just say that Democrats say everything is racist. They do this to make people mad and defensive when anything at all is called racist. That way they are well trained to get mullish and dismissive when actual racism is called racist. And this is how white supremacist groups can be openly Republican, yet there isn't a mass exodus out of the Republican party by those who are not white supremacists: Republicans are trained to get mullish and dismissive about white supremacists being called racist.

Megan Kelly never wore black face, only questioned whether or not it should be considered racist if it's done out of admiration for someone. Guess who lost their job for being a "racist"? Do I need to even mention all the other ultra liberals that have worn black face or even dressed as klansmen and have gotten a pass? I know your answer: "fake news", right? It's not that the right don't think nothing is racist, it's that there is a disconnect with the left and media when it comes to their own racist behavior. Even on this site, there is a black man that is very conservative and on SEVERAL occasions, he's been accused of being white by the libs on here, only because he is conservative. Is that racist? To be clear, there is not a single liberal I will defend as a person, so if you're trying to get me to associate anything I said with some liberals, tough shit, learn to have an original thought. Why would I agree to your generic whataboutism? Sure there are some liberals who have said or done racist things. Just there are some conservatives. I can't speak much about either fringe. The difference is Democrats don't try to weave defense of racism into their campaign messages like Republicans do.

It just isn't that simple. When I was a Republican, we acknowledged racism. But we didn't think it was something that needed to be addressed with legislation all the time. Just give affected groups the ability to create their own educational, economic and cultural engines.

What I failed to realize was how angry that made true racists. They really get livid that a non-"White" group would proceed to create their own answers to obstacles to their success either real or perceived.

And those racists might mostly vote Republican now. But there were plenty of dems who were really angry that non-"White" groups would have the nerve to seek self-empowerment.

Today, things are a bit different.
