Will there be a Republican ‘red wave’ in the midterms?

Considering how bad the economy is for the average American, the divisive identity politics of the left, terrible domestic crime and energy policies, and the embarrassment of Joe Biden/Kamala Harris, is there any scenario in which Democrats hold the Congress, Gubernatorial positions, and state legislatures?

Unless there is outright, blatant voting fraud, I do not think it is possible.

It is almost a certainty at this point. Even areas historically considered impossible for Republicans to win are polling within the margin of error. There's an actual possibility of the Republicans taking a 54-seat majority in the Senate right now, and even just a couple weeks ago, it was debatable whether they'd even get to 51.

Common sense would say that the party needs to seriously step back and re-evaluate pretty much the entirety of their platform, but I don't see that happening until the old geezers running the show are gone, and even then, most of the prominent young blood are full-throttle pseudo-communists that have almost no support to speak of outside of college age voters. The Republicans have a lot of weeds of their own to deal with, but the influx of middle aged, more grounded and current candidates is benefitting them greatly. If by some miracle they can get rid of the likes of people like Romney, Cheney, McConnell, McCarthy, and Cornyn, they'll keep carrying the momentum of flipping the working class and gaining significant ground with ethnic minorities. Right now though, I wouldn't be surprised if the party managed to metaphorically shoot themselves in the head at the last minute and deny themselves victory.

Vote against the people that locked you inside during the pandemic, took away your jobs, forced you to get vaccinations, and who told you that you couldn’t go to your church, mosque, or synagogue because of public health while they allowed mobs to vandalize and loot stores and commit arson and assault across the nation. Many of you may have lived in cities that saw riots and curfews. Remember the party that encouraged and permitted all of this. And vote them out. Get them out of office. Make it a landslide.

Think about all the money, billions and billions of dollars sent to Ukraine UKRAINE of all places, while millions of Americans have to hustle just to get by and watch as gas and food prices get higher, and our money buys less and less. We’re getting dragged into war, literally throwing money—YOUR money as taxpayers—down a bottomless pit of war in Eastern Europe. Democrat politicians are the ones who vote “yes” to fund the Ukrainians with YOUR money. Did you have a say in that? We already got out of Afghanistan—let’s not bring up the clown show of the withdrawal—and now, immediately, we’re already being dragged into ANOTHER global war that does NOTHING for ordinary Americans.

Vote against the people funding this war with your money, the ones who are tanking the economy, and the ones who are trying to sexualize children with drag Queen story hour—because apparently fairy tells and book readings can’t be done without a “man” in a g-string.

I'm not American, but while I was leaning either way originally, lately I've been wanting to be about good cheer and instead wishfully thinking those Americans will just vote Democrat instead for majorities in both chambers of congress results.

I cannot speak for 300 candidates and what they MIGHT do post-election based upon suppositions that have NOT come to pass, if they even will.

So long as there are not genuine irregularities as found in the 2000 (remember “hanging chads”) and 2020 (dead people voting, poll watchers being blocked from observing booths, etc.) presidential elections, objective results should be supported; peaceful transfer of power is paramount in a democratic-republic such as our country.

This is the issue. You can subscribe to every single classic Republican public policy position. Banning abortion except for cases of race/incest. Cutting corporate taxes. Projection of democratic principles and a free society. Banning affirmative action. Religious rights over gay rights, etc.

But when you support a candidate who claims they will only accept an election result in which they are declared the victor, that is not longer supportive of a democratic republic.

None of your examples of dead folks voting, irregularities, etc. address that. Because long ago, these trumplican candidates could have offered solutions, like election monitors from a different nation, bipartisan election panels, etc.

But the point isn't to get at election integrity. It is to empower themselves to overthrow or reject election results no matter what evidence there is to the contrary and by using violence is necessary.
