I wouldn't wish being trans on my worst enemy. It's miserable... Imagine growing up and feeling like you have no idea why people treat you a way you know you're not, and constantly feel like your body just isn't growing right. And then you become an adult and look at yourself in the mirror and feel like a monster... and then when you try and fix that, everyone ELSE calls you one too. Yeah. You don't want that. I know almost all of you don't have that. At the *very least* 98% of people don't have that. But if someone's trans, and they say so... we're gonna support them 'til all of us are happy with ourselves. Deal with it.

Not exactly forced, but extremely pressured. Right now that pressure is on little kids in elementary schools and even some pre-k. Kids are taught that straight people are intolerant and homophobic and basically the bad guys. But coming out as trans or gay is the cool thing and it is all nice people who are super-tolerant and loving. They make it out to be so wonderful. So kids declare themselves to be trans or gay without really knowing what it means. The school libraries now have extremely graphic novels like comic books that show boys sucking each other off and having anal sex. Just 10 years ago, people would go to jail for introducing such obscene material to little kids. It is only going to get worse.

No, if they're taught anything at all on the subject (which would only come up if a child had a question), it would be that all those people are people and should be treated with respect. If you don't, then, yes, you are "intolerant and homophobic" and one of "the bad guys", but that's a minority of straight people.
