When I talk to older people, they are more trusting and always seem satisfied with whatever they have. Nowadays, resources are abundant, and people still want more stuff—millionaires with ten or more cars. People betray each other. Few people trust each other.

It the opposite people like older grew up in an economic boom thus there were not as many scammers. The second is that being a singles parent and sleeping about was shameful. This leads to more marriages and thus more two parent households. Having two income household puts you so far ahead economically.
