Okay, but someone please produce hard evidence that Twitter EVER shut down a leftist for violation of TOS, or responded favorably to a rightist complaint. Anyone, anywhere, ever…. HARD EVIDENCE.

The blithering nonsense that Gadde & Dorsey regurgitated to Tim Pool & Joe Rogan when Pool offered evidence that absolutely NOTHING was done by Twitter after his life and livelihood were literally threatened ON Twitter BY leftists, despite his multiple complaints and reports would have been hilarious if it weren’t frighteningly tragic.
I think this series of posts only suggested that twitter honored conservative requests in order to produce the appearance of balance. I’m accepting HARD EVIDENCE to change my mind though. Anyone?

I think it's sad to see people attack probably the first super rich guy who really is deticated to doing good in the world. He's like a character out of a comic book lol.
This isn't the first time we've gotten hard eve dance of how corrupt our politics are. If we were even a mostly legitimate country, there would be politicians speaking out about this on all the news channels.
It's awesome. A little sunlight has the Dems terrified.

I don't think about them much. I do think it would be great if there was a thorough investigation into government's involvement in influencing what information gets promoted or censored on social media. That would be government interference against the first amendment and clear evidence of government propagandizing the citizenry.
I think Musk is holding the files as leverage over government officials, journalists, and other elites who might cause him trouble or interfere with his businesses. Imagine what is in their DMs and the records of other websites the visited while not on Twitter?
"4. Twitter in its conception was a brilliant tool for enabling instant mass communication, making a true real-time global conversation possible for the first time."
Well thats not true at all, similar platforms have existed since the 90s, they just weren't as popular. Twitter simply used forum UI as a baseline for instant messaging, and was not the first to do so, but rather the one that gained popularity first. You should have added more information. (I personally know what you're talking about, but other people may not.)
I think Musk is mentally ill
Oh I was pretty much aware of their shenanigans to begin with. Not surprised in the least.
I thought this was a conspiracy theory…
