Now suddenly it's dangerous and the white house "is keeping a close eye"

Did something happen to make them panic?

A rich boy who traditionally would spend all his money on girls and cars and throw big parties invested it in technology at about the right point in time making many people think he is clever and knows what he is doing. If you would happily trust a playboy with perhaps the most fluid way for the world to communicate for some people then you can worry... or if you dont care about twitter and seeing as only a very small proportion of people actually use it, then i wouldn't worry
