Is Trump's Bipolar Disorder getting worse?

Trump waged a months-long verbal war on mail-in voting in 2020, demanded Georgia’s Republican secretary of state “find” enough votes for him to beat President Biden, watched supporters of his ransack the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has never relented in spreading the lie that he was cheated out of a second term by massive voter fraud (there’s zero evidence for the claim), demanded in August to be reinstated or for a rerun of the 2020 election.

He repeated that last bit on Saturday but added “[a] massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”

All this suggests to me that he is getting much worse.

He's probably feeling the DoJ closing in. They have a difficult job ahead, there's a good chance there will be a couple of Trump supporters in any jury, so they need an overwhelming amount of evidence (which I think they have).

His stated desire to terminate the constitution, in writing no less, is even turning a few Republicans against him.

In full, Trump’s post to Truth Social read, “So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”

His mania is getting much worse, and so is his judgment, what there is of it. I believe he is mentally ill (and I am qualified to hold that belief) and I wish he would get treatment before he self-destructs.

Never cared for trumps personality, he could be, things get worse as age. What he's saying is... he thinks someone cheated, here's some evidence, and the whole thing should be undone. Well... doesn't work that way fella, and he should be tried in court for trying to get the Georgia republican to throw the election.

However, he still can speak more clearly and fluently than Biden even when Biden's reading a script provided by... someone... we don't know who is really making the decisions and writing the scripts and thus, whom is really in charge.

He’s an extreme narcissist and feels his relevance slipping away and can’t bear to go back to living without constant attention. It’s why he’s becoming increasingly unstable and erratic with his statements. He’s a sad man desperately trying to hold on to the limelight. He feels the threat from DeSantis politically and the walls are closing in around him with criminal indictments looming. If you think he’s crazy now, just wait. If he’s indicted, he’ll try to stir up widespread violence. If he loses the primary, he’ll try to burn the Republican Party to the ground. I guarantee he’d rather see Joe Biden win again than another Republican who defeated him. This would all be entertaining to watch if the consequences weren’t so tragic. Voters made a deal with the devil in 2016 and the cost will be high for some time to come. Hope that 4 year clown show was worth it.

Sudafed can be abused at which point it becomes addictive and causes highs. I also did not say it made you mentally ill but that Trump also has mental illnesses independently of his drug problems.

Furthermore, this was never about addictions but about drug use. In other words, does Trump use drugs or does he not? I think the signs are pretty clear that he does which explains a lot of his behaviors.

If he really does abuse drugs, which is possible I suppose (although I doubt it would be Sudafed - cocaine or meth seem a lot more likely) it seems like we would see him much more often in "down" times, and in fact, we do to some extent. I am not saying you are necessarily wrong about this but his symptoms are so consistent with Bipolar I disorder it's really hard to tell the difference. I think we can agree that there is *something* wrong with him. We may never know what.

If he is abusing drugs (which I think) then there is no reason he would limit it to just one, especially if one of them would be sudafed. It is just the one we have the most direct evidence of where as other claims mention addreall and other substances but in that case we only have individual sources rather than physical proofs.

As for tracking his highs and lows I guess the easiest way would just to track his previous presidential campaign rallies where it almost seamed like a coin toss if he was energetic or out of energy at times.

Actually, I think Adderal is a good guess as well. The only question would be how is he getting it? Anyone prescribing or dispensing the amount he is apparently using would be in trouble I think.

That is honestly far less of a question. Trump has a long history of controlling his personal doctor to the point where he writes his own doctors notes and while I dont remember that well since its been a hot minute since Trump was president and this was relevant but either his private doctor or the white house doctor at the time was basically known as a drug dealer along with a bunch of other bad traits such as drinking on the job. Point is, even without any other personal connections that alone would be a virtually unlimited supply of prescription drugs.

Ahahaha! Good question! I personally think Trump is barely literate and can barely write. What he has shown over the years is a habit of dictating to others what they are supposed to write. For example:

This doctors note as mentioned earlier. It uses words and phrases that Trump would NEVER use but it is also structured in a very Trumpesque way that immediately gives away that he had a figurative hand in writing it by telling someone else what they should write in broad strokes.
