Honestly, what's the problem with women's nipples showing?

It's "acceptable" when men walk around shirtless, but if a woman were to do the same, according to society it's "slutty", but I don't see it that way

I don't see what the problem is, either! What puzzles me is that in the first place, women are allowed to show EVERY PART of their tits in public EXCEPT the areola and nipple but, those parts they ARE allowed to show are the ONLY ones men DON'T have (per se)! I mean, with women, those bits are much more swollen than on men and, therefore, THOSE are the parts men DON'T have but, we ALL have nipples so, why is it only men can show theirs? Obviously, it's perfectly fine for women to walk around topless if they have no nipples (or at least make it LOOK LIKE they don't have nipples. Otherwise, that Marilyn Manson video, "The Dope Show" would've never been seen on commercial t. v.!
Secondly, it's perfectly okay for women to wear very transparent clothes over their nipples so we CAN see their nipples through them but, if one whipped out one of the girls from behind that top, the world wold come crumbling down!! What it SO TERRIFYING about seeing a naked female nipple? We can go to a museum and look at them all day long in paintings, drawings, pictures and sculptures but, we CAN'T seem them in real life? WHY?
Apparently, you're allowed to 'show" your nipples in public as long as you have SOMETHING covering them! I have a picture of Brittany Spears on stage in a clear red rubber tube top and you can CLEARLY see her nipples through it but, they ARE covered so, it's legal!!
You're allowed to walk around in public wearing nothing more than a layer of latex paint but, if you peel it off your nipples, you'll get arrested!!

As far as I'm concerned, if a woman wants to do so, then she should be able to.

That's not even a "hur hur boobies!" mindset; I just think she should be able to make that choice herself, if she feels comfortable doing so.

Honestly, I think the fact that women are sexual beings, just as men are, doesn’t matter to anyone especially men considering we can’t physically and easily hurt them as they can us. Most women don’t go around wanting sex so we’re rping men as men does to women. Therefore, society has granted them male privilege and them being able to wear their nipples out the way they do is included in that privilege.


Simply put, most of them time, women are no threat to men (as they are to us). That shouldn’t be a reason sexist double standards exists though, just the reality of why it’s normalized when men does it. Even little toddler boys are normalized to be shirtless yet toddler girls are sexualized already by society

I am kind of in between on this question, it does not bother me, but I can see how people would consider it a kind of overly private part of the body. To answer the question why it is different from men's nipples, babies do not feed from men's nipples, to answer the question why it is different from cleavage and side boob, babies do not feed from cleavage and side boob. There is no discharge ever from cleavage and side boob, I mean should I go on, it is a different thing. Having said that I would be OK with them being visible I am just pointing out some things that I don't see mentioned in these discussions which seem to happen every day?

What's the difference? A few important things:

Do you become sexually aroused at the sight of a man's nipples? Didn't think so. However, men do become sexually aroused at the sight of women's nipples.

In addition, women's nipples tend to be a significant source of sexual pleasure when simulated, men's nipples do nothing of the sort.

In short, men's nipples play no sexual role while women's most certainly do. This is why women's nipples get covered while men's don't.

I've never been overly hung up about having my nipples show through my clothes.

While I don't go out of my way to have them show out of good taste... I tend to wear lightly padded bras, I don't go crazy if they do.

Anyone over the age of 12 has figured out that

- Women have breasts

- Breasts have nipples
