people are so close minded about everything including, what you wear, what music you listen to, and your hobbies. Why do people do this. Its so stupid.

In a general sense, you're right. People are judgmental.

Sometimes, though, there's context to it, particularly the clothes thing (wearing a bikini to a funeral or a muscle shirt at church).

Other times, people don't understand or can't relate and that makes them close minded.

I totally agree with you.. People are so judgmental. They just everyone based on how much money you have, your social status/class, your looks, clothes, age, religion etc and make assumptions about you..

They expect you to behave a certain way and fit some norms, otherwise you get ostracized and marginalized by society
