A) "he could not find enough documentable evidence to make a conviction stick BASED on the testimonies of key witnesses, or the lack of their testimonies".
B) He ALSO said he believes there IS evidence, but that Congress should investigate.
C) He ALSO said be believed "many witnesses were not forthcoming" - which is politically correct way of saying "they lied to me".

So while all the trumptards were dancing in his Tower because the word "collusion" didn't apply in all of its earnest meaning, the words "conspired to" and other criminal activities were still very much in play. THAT is why Manafort, Flynn, Stone and other dupes were convicted.

Only an idiot could POSSIBLY believe at this stage that Trump is "an innocent, persecuted Patriot" who has relentlessly target by the FBI, CIA and "deep state".

It was also started for totally bogus reasons, used as a political tool (I remember a certain Republican political operative on here talking up how Durham was going to blow the Mueller report sky high four years ago, when it started), and had multiple investigators quit for ethical reasons.

On the other hand, the Mueller report detailed 140 contacts between Trump associates and Russia and convicted numerous people, often for obstruction of justice on Trump's behalf.
