Thoughts on these photographs taken within the World Trade Center during 9/11?

Rick Rescorla became director of security at Morgan Stanley, where he maintained vigilant attention to the firm's and the building's safety. Despite disruption at the busy brokerage firm, he insisted on holding twice-yearly evacuation drills by the stairwell for the firm's 22 floors in the south tower. On Sept. 11, 2001, his team was ready.

Despite having received official instructions to stay put after the 8:46 a. m. crash next door, Rescorla told Morgan Stanley staffers to follow his evacuation plan, and he sent them two by two, as they had practiced, down the many flights of stairs. His decision and his preparation made all the difference. Although 13 employees including Rescorla perished in the attacks, more than 2,500 employees left the tower alive. He was last seen going back up the stairs of the south tower to find other people, right before it collapsed.

These are still very troubling. I visited ground zero in 2008 when it was still a big hole on the ground. It was a very moving experience.

I want to visit the memorial but especially the South Tower Memorial Pool, my friends sons name is there, he worked for Sandler O’Neil’s & Partners on the 104th. He was 27.

Sadly what happened after 9/11 was way worse than the attacks themselves… 1,000,000+ innocent people died because of falsified information of the bush administration, none of the hijackers came from Iraq or Afghanistan they were Egyptian and Saudi tied to Saudi intelligence operations (last year the FBI officially declassified that portion)

I made a virtual tour of the 9/11 memorial in a game i play (if you ever want to see let me know, I'll send pics) I want to visit the memorial but especially the South Tower Memorial Pool, My friend's sons name is there, he worked for Sandler O’Neil’s & Partners on the 104th. He was 27.

How did people have time to take photos or evacuate? The time betwen the impact and the building collapse was very short.

Tons of people had cameras, visitors too lot of is likely snippets from videos taken. And they had tons of time to evacuate, but the emergency system told people to stay in their offices. Which thankfully lot of people ignored. The ones that couldn’t evacuate were trapped above the impact zones.
