Should men talk to women at work even if they dont want to make the women not feel lonely?

I think to a certain extent isolating can be considered a form of bullying. In this case I wouldn't say that it is but I think she should have a direct conversation with her coworkers about how they're making her feel. And also maybe encourage her to act a bit more goofy around them so they feel more comfortable reciprocating that.

I'm currently in a similar position and it does feel isolating sometimes because the men tend to respect me much more than other people in the work place (females included). So most of them act like they would around their mothers/grandmothers because to them that's how they show respect. I understand that and so I'm okay with it. But sometimes you just wanna goof off and genuinely have fun. I think it can actually be quite a powerful position to be one of the only females in a male dominated work place because you honestly get to set the tone and determine how the day plays out. Most of the time, the men will follow the woman's lead.

I can talk to women without thinking about sex. If someone wants to make something into a sexual issue that isn’t. It shows whose minds in the gutter.



Honestly I don’t come across women like this often. There is some legitimately creepy men. Unfortunately there are some stupid women (and stupid men) who make something into something that it’s not or stupid men who do creep on women
