@Bricealan The question as written was not specific to trans. In any case, if it had not been for the inculcation of demographic and gender-based resentments, what would have grown out of the occupy wall street and tea party movements? Quite possibly a unified, broad-based movement against our current elites. The intersectional movement (“wokeism”), which gave birth to the trans movement as a meaningful political phenomenon that reliably supports the elites, was moved out of the academy and into popular consciousness around the same time and not by coincidence. It exploited real and perceived grievances of different groups and directed their resentment against the (largely middle class or traditional) Americans most likely and able to oppose the elite.
