Don't blame me; I voted for Tulsi. And then Trump, after Biden was nominated. We could've had a leader who wasn't old enough to retire, who didn't view her political opponents as enemies, and who wanted to focus on reconciling the country and repairing our civic infrastructure (and who was an idiot on nuclear power, but hey, you can't have everything), but no, we needed to have a walking war on the Bill of Rights, lest the Orange Man triumph.

Maybe we should've split the difference and just put a literal orange man in the White House; I'm thinking somebody like this:

No, but at this time, there's basically zero individual thought in the Democratic party from anyone under the age of ~70, so it effectively doesn't matter who they nominate. The agenda stays the same regardless, and the same clowns just play musical chairs with each other in unelected positions until they croak.

Actually, yes, I think he was the best available person for the job.
I am a lot older than you and I've watched Biden since the 1970s.
He's a good decent man who isn't a partisan asshole.
And he's infinitely better than Trump.
