Vivek Ramaswamy for president in 2024?

Vivek Ramaswamy is the greatest hope that I see for the continuation of the greatness of the USA.

The video is 26:13 minutes.

It's the most spirit-elevating 26:13 minutes that I've ever invested myself in.

His campaign signs are in my yard, and his bumper stickers are on my truck.

He is an extremely successful, extremely intelligent, first-generation son of Indian immigrants who knows intimately the ideals upon which the U. S. was founded and wants them to be remembered by us all.

His election is crucial to the USA.

He's all over YouTube.

Please, give him a bit of your time.

If it weren't for one major detail, I'd vote for Ramaswamy during the primary in a heartbeat. Another problem I'll outline below would likely castrate his effectiveness though.

The problem, aside from the fact he stands no chance of winning the primary without a major shakeup (this time), is that he is completely untested in terms of diplomacy and foreign policy. Normally this would be pretty secondary to the economy, but with the ongoing war in Ukraine, a likely war over Taiwan, and multiple conflicts underway or about to erupt in the middle east and Africa, he absolutely would be pushed and prodded by our enemies and rivals on day one.

Another issue is that because he's an outsider who hasn't really established himself with the public enough to have much personal pull, he would either be stonewalled by his own party, or forced to play ball with them to pass meaningful changes, which would be less of a challenge yet still very much uphill for Trump, and impossible for DeSantis since unlike Ramaswamy, he can't self-fund. This would result in more or less a repeat of Trump's term in which nothing actually gets passed without executive order, and would immediately get undone when the next swamp creature gets into office.

Vivek's best case scenario at this point in time is to keep running to the right of Trump and Desantis, build up a strong following during the primary, endorse the winner, win the general, and take either a cabinet or VP slot, and then run as a frontrunner in 2028. He's young enough that he could wait even longer if he has to, unlike Trump, and unlike DeSantis, he's not really risking torpedoing his career with this campaign.

That's one thing I really like about him.

After listening to him again and again, it's clear that he is extremely intelligent and can speak on any subject without hesitation, from the heart.
In hours of watching him, I've only once seen him say that he has insufficient information to address a detail regarding a subject, and he didn't hem and haw around it. He quickly, clearly said that he couldn't speak to the subject.

I think he's a genius.

I think that if he makes it to the debate stage, which I'm helping make a reality with daily small donations, he'll blow the competition wide open with his intelligence and knowledge.

Your scenario for him to ride along with Trump and make a go at 2028 may be what happens.

He has said what he can and will do by executive order on day one.
The country will benefit greatly.
His orders won't be rescinded.

My concern is that this country can't wait four more years to get things turned around from the dismal state they're now in.

I say that VR is the man for the job, NOW.

I'm looking at the long haul. If we get him, now, what comes next? If we get Don now to finish what he started then don for 8 years to continue what Don started, THEN VR for another 8 to further those agendae, we get a solid 20 years of good government!!

I'm looking at the big picture, too.

I'm no longer big on Trump.
I was, but I think his wad has been shot.
I think he'd be ineffective, resulting in more years of division in the country.
I don't know if we have any time left to writhe in more division.

DeSantis, no.
I think that DeSantis is somewhat of a knee-jerk reactor, not a leader who can lead.
He doesn't impress me at all.

I'm no political expert, though.

I say, get VR in, with a solid running mate, get things moving in the right direction, and people will see the correct route.
VR's legacy will then continue.

VR has a LOT of great solutions that he can and says that he will do on day 1.

I think that once VR gets to the debate stage, if he can by way of getting enough individual $1 donations, which I contribute as often as a few times daily, he's going to blow the lid off of the race for the nomination.

That's my two cents.
