Generally speaking, the ancestry part of those DNA tests is the least accurate part. There have been several cases where identical twins got very different results (including two that I knew personally).

I would imagine (at least in theory) that there are many different indigenous groups you could be descended from that would give you that result.

I have seen a YouTube video like that before with the identical twins but I know fire sure black and white people aren’t indigenous to the north and South American continent.
Indigenous means the ethnic group of people who have been living in that place from the earliest time or before colonists

Well technically no one is given the current consensus is that the original indigenous are descendents of those who crossed Beringia around 16000 years ago (though there are some who dispute that theory).

But in terms of my comment about many different indigenous groups, I wasn't referring to black and white people. I was referring to the 500+ different tribes or nations that lived on North America pre 1492, not just the Cherokee.

i am almost certain not, ancestor can be one century too. and i know you dont literaly mean one type of "native" just as a sample.

Well technically if you don't have native blood you aren't a true American or Canadian you are an immigrant descendant lol My mom is Ojibway and my dad is french Canadian so I am a TRUE Canadian 🤣🤣

I’m not American myself but I do know about the USA history. It’s sad how those white people are still till this day trying to claim the USA land as their own.

It’s not their land rightfully and they are also not indigenous to the American land

Technically, any indigenous peoples blood in your family tree would make you a true American. Even Incan or Mayan.
