Why do you suppose self-proclaimed sanctuary cities call in the military when they get some illegals looking for a sanctuary city?

I don't understand it. Sanctuary cities brag about being tolerant of illegal aliens, but when they get a few, they flip out and go crazy. Why would a sanctuary city not want to be a sanctuary city?

They get a lot of money for maintaining the status of being a Sanctuary city. They don't want to lose a dime of that money.
But take a look at San Francisco. I grew up there, and it was beautiful. It became a Sanctuary city a long time ago. Now look at it. It will never be as it was because it became a Sanctuary city. It's filthy and full of homeless drug addicts and all of that mess has chased a lot of companies out of there. They won. But if you were going to be a homeless person wouldn't you pick a city like San Francisco? that
