OK so this may be a complete shock to you but, lemme tell u something, as one of the leftists who supports affirmative action. The reason I support it, and why anyone I've ever met who supports it supports it & thinks it's necessary, is not actually anything to do with hating or punishing white people. It's actually entirely about helping people of color.

Like did u know the reason there's so many black people in such high poverty areas all together, is bc back a few generations ago it was intentionally set up that way. Black people were intentionally sold shit houses in shitty areas, and without government or family help it's super hard to get out of poverty—and even when black people did build big thriving cities they got deliberately fucking destroyed. And guess where funding for schools come from? The city. So guess what happens if a city is very poor and has been for a few generations? The schools have very poor funding.

So we know bc of documented history that in America specifically, certain races (like black people) have been put at a disadvantage on the statistical level for getting good education. And we know white people haven't on that level. So what affirmative action does, is it gives like a boost or a leg up to people who are most likely to have already gotten a leg down in the system. Affirmative action isn't to punish white people that's just silly. It's to help people who's races have been screwed over so hard in the past that it still negatively effects on the large scale today. White people can get help on the individual level. But as a race, they have no reason for affirmative action in America today.

Southern Italians have more Greek and Berber influences. Europe is basically a peninsula that several pre-historic peoples spread through and their mixture created the various European ethnicities that you see today. With few exceptions, all European languages are descended from a common Indo-European language. They all share a common cultural history and they all share a lot of common genetic haplogroups.
That doesn't exist for Asia. Asia is so geographically spread out that several different races emerged that don't share any genetic or cultural ties with each other. Arabs, Middle-Easterners, and East Asians all have wildly different cultures, languages, and genetic ancestry.
Of course, it doesn't surprise me one bit that you're ignorant to all of this.
