Without the huge demand of people now dependent on this drug, the Mexican cartels would have no profit.

The trouble is that federal regulators severely restricted access to oxycodone. It is clear that people who are already addicted are turning to the illicit market. Legal drugs are also much too expensive in the U. S.

I think it would be possible to supply such drugs from within the U. S. and keep the profits in the U. S. which seems to be your main concern.

My main concern is saving American lives. And since the poison is coming from China via Mexico the fastest and best way to cut it off at the source right now is A. Crack down on China (like Trump did) with tariffs and whatever else it takes to force them to stop. B. Tell Mexico either you eliminate these Cartels MUCHO PRONTO or we are coming in to do the job ourselves whether you like it or not.

Then we can talk about what needs to be done domestically. 110 thousand Americans were murdered by China, Mexico and Biden last year. And who knows how many this year. Stop the bleeding first then take it from there. We are being invaded by foreign countries. This is a declaration of WAR and this administration and the Democrats are in a treasonous alliance aiding and abetting the enemy.
