Why do people call biracial people light skin black people?

I have heared light skinned and mixed/yellow bone and whatever before But I haven't heard it called light skinned black people. Lol that just sounds kinda dumb to me like it's being said in some really deep country ass Narnia town that I've never heard of. And it escaped and made it to gag. Um because why isn't a sunkissed white person? Or a honey from the gods black person Lol I mean really it sounds just as dumb. but better because it's not coming from some weird place of hate.
Also technically/scientifically whatever the father is that is the race of the child no matter what tone it has.

Honestly I am going for my common sense answer to your question. But there could be some weird ass deep rooted slave related answer that I am not trying to get depressed over on a Monday afternoon at 12pm for no real reason. But they make search engines with a whole bunch of inaccurate/accurate answers about all kinds of stuff everywhere. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Because often people aren’t aware of someone’s heritage. It’s easy to conflate light skinned and bi-racial.

Race is a 17th century pseudo-scientific theory to define humans by physical appearance. It is a defunct concept yet a widely followed construct. It is a convenient way to divide people into tribes that are easier to control by the political overseer class. There is one race, Homo sapiens.
