Is this calendar information accurate?

Question

If we had 13 months instead of 12, every month would be exactly 28 days. The 1st of each month always be Monday and the 28th would be Sunday.
Every month would have exactly 28 days instead of 28.257, and we would properly align ourselves with the cycles of the moon.

We are currently using the Gregorian calendar, introduced by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582.
Could it be time for an update?

No. 28X13=36 4 , and the year has 36 5  days- except it doesn't, not quite- we add an additional day every four years. But that still doesn't balance it out, so we DON'T add the extra day every 400 years (yes, this means that 2000 wasn't actually a leap year; I brought this up at the time, but no one listened). But even THAT doesn't fix it, either, and every 4000 years, we DO add the day. Nor would that sync us up with the moon, since a lunar cycle is 28.4 days, not an even 28. But there IS one area where the calendar could be updated: the current month is September, from -ember (-umber, -umbra, -moon, -month) and Sept meaning "seven", because it's the seventh month. Except it's not, it's the NINTH month, moved when the Julian calendar changed New Years' to January from April (people not making the change is where April Fools' day comes from), but didn't bother changing the names of the last four months of the year. The Julian calendar was made at the order of Julius Caesar. This was inaccurate when JESUS was walking around, and in the 2068 years since its creation, NOBODY has bothered to fix it.

Not 100% exactly.

13x28 days are 364 days, but the earth takes 365 days and a little bit under 6 hours for an exact complete full circle around the sun.

So you would still need one extra day each year and another one every 4 years.

I've always been a bit annoyed by the 12 month calendar. How some months are 30 days and others 31, trying to remember the leap years when January has 29 days. Also how some months can have 5 weekends in them. I would much rather have a 13 months calendar for these reasons, (I guess we would still need a leap year dat) also for the reason you mentioned.

I mean I have thought of that but we can't escape the 365.25 days a year around the sun, and since 13*28 is 264 then we sill have to worry about the 1.25 days a year as well. Then you have the idea that seasons are typically broken up into 3 months each how does that work with 13.

Why does everyone want to make more work for themselves by having an extra month to work each year? An extra month of rent, car payments, and taxes? And if your body grows accustomed to it, one more month for periods. 🥺What's a matta wit you, got no brain?
