How deep do we want to go here?

Our bodies, while rather pathetic in many ways, have the best tool use of any being on earth. We have the best throwing ability and the highest endurance of any mammal due to our vastly superior ability to sweat.

Mentally of course we have good memory storage and our vocal chords are expressive enough that it makes creating language natural. By being able to create complex language we get amazing powers such as sharing knowledge and abstract thought. Which in turn enables society, technology and so on. Allowing us to stand on each other's figurative shoulders generation after generation and continually achieve more because of it.

We're in that sense a person making our money produce more money rather than working ourselves - which we all know is the only way to become obnoxiously wealthy and on earth no one else can do it to nearly the same degree.

We're also conflict intense. That forces progress. A major thing setting us apart from other intelligent lifeforms like elephants.

Most likely, things like intelligence, technology and alike are not goals of life. They are not natural evolution or selection. We're an oddity that succeeded despite the odds and from ahead have too many perks to be threatened. We just might be the only beings or our kind. As lonely and amazing as that sounds.
