Why do Americans support Isreal, but then moan about Mexicans coming into "their" country?

I've never met anyone in the USA that is mad about Mexicans visiting or migrating legally to America. What Americans don't like are illegal immigrants that break our laws and violate our national sovereignty. It doesn't matter if they are from Mexico, Ethiopia, Syria, China, or Belarus. As to why people would support Israel in the current conflict. Well again, Hamas came illegally across the border wall raping and murdering civilian populations. This is after Israel had pulled back out of Gaza and forcefully remove Jewish Israeli settlers from Gaza too grant the Palestinians their own land so they could live in peace with one another for many years. Regardless of the government turning a blind eye to the threat and allowing it to happen so a war could start, an attack did occur which was savage and inflicted harm to civilians. This is obviously a problem and people have a right to be mad and to defend themselves.

Hamas' own charter specifically speaks to the eradication of Israel and Jews in absolute terms. They aren't friendly people. Not all Palestinians run with Hamas, but they pretty commonly do support them on some level. Hamas generally gets their funding from totalitarian regimes that chant death to America and death to Israel like Iran that have funded attacks against American civilians in the past. So it's kind of a no brainer that Americans would stand against people that have behaved as our enemies carrying out acts of terrorism against our civilian populations with an end goal of destroying our liberty and heritage, and with nations that cooperate and trade with us on friendly terms who also have common enemies.

Additionally, most Americans are Christians of some sort and thus have a spiritual tie to the bloodline of Jesus. While there are many different views of Jews that get tosses around in America, in general Americans are accepting of freedom of religion and see most Jews in a neutral to positive light rather than a negative light. That said there are those who tend to hate the Jews all together like the Democrats that founded the KKK whom has targeted Jews, Black communists that tend to attack Jews on a regular basis in major cities, and Democrats that openly fund terrorist organizations and Nazi groups that attack Jews. So not everyone in America is on the same page... You will see polar extremes where some people think all Jews are evil and others that think all Jews are God's chosen people, but you will also get shade of gray in between where people practically state that some Jews are good people and others are bad people. Some might even know about schisms in the kingdom of Israel or even be completely apathetic to it all together. You might even find people that trace bloodlines and consider Jews from one bloodline to be good and from the other bloodline to be evil... It all depends on who you talk to... For example Red Castle and Green Castle... Green happens to be my favorite color...

Simply, because they're hypocrites. Not all lives are worth the same for them. The Mexicans are poor 🤷‍♂️
