Bambi's mom died, but the woke wants to shield kids from life. Is this good?

We're all going to die. Wars happen, hunting happens, and blue city mayors happen. The woke wants to change the 100 year old story so it's less tragic for kids. But the entire point of the story is how Bambi moves on from the tragedy. He meets a cool rabbit named Thumper, and a cool skunk named Flower!

I remember killing chickens when I was a kid. That was our food. (I never killed the cows or pigs, because that's just MEAN!)

Interesting how these people always want to censor basic reality from kids, but also want them sexualized from an early age.

Here's a radical idea: what if instead of just bastardizing a classic story and appropriating the characters for a ripoff, they just make something original featuring a positive mother and/or father figure that doesn't need to be killed off for the child character to grow and mature?

Shielding your kids is not necessary bad, parents should shield their young children. That does not mean that SJWs should censor Bambi, that means that parents should check out Bambi before they let their child watch it, and decide if they are ok with their kids watching it.

I know modern Disney is ran by SJWs, and that they are looking for things to call problematic. I think majority of their remakes have been crap. I don’t think they should censor their old stuff, but I do think parents shielding their kids to a degree is ok.

I agree 100%. But they will NOT make new stories, because that's not what their power struggle is about. They don't want to make a story, they just want to beat you down so you change YOUR story.
