What is your opinion on Butterball turkey vs. Wild Turkey?

My wife and I get wild turkeys on our property but I've never eaten wild turkey.

We prefer to buy humanely raised, chemical free turkeys from local farmers, as opposed to turkeys that are raised in factory farms. If cooked properly, they're delicious. They don't need to be injected with butter and God knows what to be juicy and tender.
I've eaten plenty of Butterballs in my life, though.

My father was stuck in traffic and he saw some wild turkeys in the median strip. He had a burlap bag in his car so he pulled over and got out. We walked over to the turkeys and he grabbed one and stuffit it in the sack.. we had it for dinner a couple of weeks later. It really was not very good. The meat was dry and didn't quite taste like turkey, The butterball turkey you get in the store are better.

  It involved a bottle of wine.
  
  My ex and l bought a bottle of wine. She drank a glass. I had the rest. Then l decided to stagger out in the yard. About an hour later my ex wife goes looking for me. Well she found me. Snuggled up next to the dog in his doghouse. The dog had no issues with it. I did manage to get a sponge bath before she let me snuggle up to her in bed that night.
