I was listening to a panel of conservative podcasters yesterday talking about the debate, and no sh*t they said Vivek is great but he comes across as too smart and mean as if intelligence, honesty, and calling out BS within your own party are a problem. I don't think I've ever heard a better explanation as to why there's so much crap in the Republican party and why they struggle to win what should be easy elections. Meanwhile the party scum is desperately trying to pretend Nikki Haley is popular.

That is an important point on its own however because it's very obvious that the party elite hate Vivek, and if he were president, they'd stonewall him and make sure he doesn't accomplish anything of lasting significance, probably just as much if not moreso than they did with Trump.

No idea if he'd make a good President, but he is smart and like a good businessman, he knows how to find a market that is untapped.

He started out extremely anti-Israel then softened on it and said Hamas heads should be on stakes, something like that. I don't know where he stands now. I despise Hamas but that was also very savage-like.

Or he's just telling his voters what they want to hear. Opinion can change but not over night. I did hear that about him that he's flip flopped. It's hard to trust someone like that. It could also be that his previous comments were to appease the media/public and now he's saying what he really thinks. Who knows?
