What is your country's life expectancy?

Are you surprised? Here's a little information on how long you are expected to live. I recently lost my older brother, and he almost made it by 2 years.

84 years for women but that varies a lot round the UK. It's higher than the USA because we've free healthcare and prescriptions and less guns.

We have more guns, for sure. But we also have healthcare and prescriptions too. Having the healthcare doesn’t guarantee a longer life. Illnesses don’t care if you’ve health insurance or not. I think most here suffer because of their eating habits alone.

In Canada life expectancy is just shy of 83 years. My mother just past away at 88.

Sorry to hear that. I just lost my brother, at 75. He had poor health.

82 for women and 78 for men in the USA. I may get lucky... my father died at 98 and I have his genes.

Wow! My own father did not live past late 60's. His health was poor. But my former father-in law loved until 100, a few months past it. His wife is now about 99.

79 and 75... and both would be higher... if it weren't for diabetes and heart diseases
