'troll' is an interesting word to use here. Recently, he acknowledged on a podcast that, initially, to garner fame, he strategically engaged in provocative behavior, successfully eliciting reactions. Subsequently, upon achieving fame, he transitioned to earnestly promoting his various beliefs... Honestly, whether you like him or not, thats pretty damn smart.

In conclusion, some things you may have heard may seem like he's trolling, and sometimes he's actually speaking truly.

Does Andrew Tate actually make money? I mean, I guess? But its small time money. He might have a few million from scamming his supporters but in reality his wealth is mostly performative. Things like renting super cars to pose with them for pictures kind of performative to make it look like he is far more successful than he really is.

His success is directly tied to people believing that he is far more wealthy than he actually is so ironically the money that he DO have is probably mostly spent on keeping up this luxurious lifestyle. It would not at all surprise me if he has some insane debts piled up by now as well, but that is speculations.

It is actually a surprisingly common lifestyle that many live. The most famous would be Donald Trump who spent most of his life building up the fake image of his economic success by for example falsely reporting his wealth to Forbes ranking of the richest people.

People like this might live a lavish lifestyle and have a decent amount of cash but they will never make it to being truly wealthy. From the viewpoint of the rich elite they are simply a slightly more successful poor person.
