not at all. honestly might even try to unalive before new years eve. never want to see 2024. mainly cos that's the year i'd turn 24. even if it would be at the very very end of the year, it will feel so much closer once jan 1st hits. 24 is the end of your youth, and from there on life is all downhill and gets shittier and more boring. there's no point in being alive past 23 so yea, exciting

also we'll be in the mid 2020's then and it just is like all the good times, my teen years and stuff will feel even more distant. like 2020 would be 4 years ago. society is also getting more and more dystopian day by day

Yes and no.
I am hoping it will be better than 2023 which was among the worst years of my life - so much so, 2024 will not start out any better.
But, I am more concerned about what's coming, so I am a bit reticent about 2024.
And, for me, it will be "a prime number year" (I will be turning 61 in early January) and those are often years of great change and/or years that go very badly for me.

I don’t care anymore. Politicians and administrative agencies have been mostly captured by private interests. If 99% of the population wanted a law passed, but the biggest corporations in America didn’t, then the law wouldn’t get passed

Not so much 2024 but I’m looking forward to 2025. 2024 will just be 2023 2.0. I could be wrong but with the way things are looking right now in the world, it doesn't look like anything will improve by 2024.
