The use of nitrogen gas will be a capital punishment scheduled in Alabama. Is this humane?

i say do death penalty for murder after appeals, just once in supreme court and if guilty gruesom electric chair because the nerves can't feel.

slaughter in switzerland i heard electrecuted cows. most humane option.
about death row must not WAIT because the agony, waiting knowing doom is agony. once the appeal was rejected in supreme court or they realize not to appeal, move to the electric chair within a week even if that means operating the chair in constant shifts no delay of death row.

It’s really not that gruesome or bloody. People getting shot isn’t like it is in action movies. It was an accepted method of execution since firearms were first a thing, and is still practiced commonly in many places.

it's painless but it's not quick and requires a willingness to breathe. I wonder how long he'll try to hold his breath. Takes about a minute to knock out a pig so add on 2 minutes holding his breath and that's 3 minutes thinking time.

For the sort of people who live in Alabama this probably qualified as humane. But for the rest of the civilized world killing for a year reason other than self defense is by definition inhumane.

I saw a News report saying that white people incarcerated has gone up 40 ish percent and black people incarcerated is now 20 or so percent or maybe down. Not sure but its the News anyways so who knows? There are lots of people incarcerated.

Generally execution but certainly not 100% is reserved for the most despicable of people. Your taxes would go through the roof if we just continued to house or set free the masses that continue to multiply unconditionally. The Alabama case set for a couple days from now if my memory collects is a man who hired a hit man to kill a pastor. I wouldn't consider this the most despicable of humans but still quite evil.

If we put only the most despicable people in prison instead of executing them, that's not many people and would have no impact on costs. The fact still remains that there is no civilized justification for killing for any reason other than self defense. It is pure bloodlust because we hate the crime committed. And while it might seem like it makes a lot of sense for things like child rape, who is to say someone doesn't get just as enraged over petty theft? Who is to say people wouldn't get just as mad over the accusation? There is too much room for error once we start carving out exceptions and the most uncivilized among us will find a way to exploit those exceptions. The solution is not to indulge them. It is to tell them no, they will have to stop being an animal and deny themselves their bloodlust.

The sick thing is that I have never heard of a child rapist given the death penalty. Rapist and murderer yes.
