Honestly, we need to start punishing the companies who do this. I've worked in private security, and many times I've called supervisors for direction because something was shady.

You should always question orders if they dont seem right. This is also something they likely would have known was coming hours in advance.

The security officers had the opportunity to do the right thing. I have no sympathy. Orders are not an excuse to forego free thought.
