The fact that it took them so long to close it crazy. Their leadership is lacking in a huge way. They burnt a lot of their company's capital trying to befriend racist black communists when they are responsible to their shareholders to turn a profit. I don't know why anyone would hold stock in a company like that.

I use to go to Walgreens roughly once a week for something. I haven't been there in probably five years due to the gradual escalation of DEI policies. Clearly they are on the wrong side of history. They can jack up prices all they want, it doesn't impact customers they have already lost.

It is expensive, but that's the nature of convenience stores. I have a car, so I shop at big stores with good prices.
OK, so all the good customers left, and now their clientele are just thieves. They can't remain open, so I wish the government would just stay the hell out of it.

They actually use to have good prices on certain items on occasion if you checked the deals. They would run sales every week. If you played the system you could stock up on very inexpensive name brand toiletries, coffee, candy, and even items like tuna fish. That said, when COVID-19 was implemented by the WEF and supply shocks were engineered to break the American economy, all the WEF loyal companies ended their sales and coupon campaigns to drive rapid inflation.

Here's the thing. We have seen this before. Major corporations close stores in "disadvantaged" neighborhoods due to crimes etc. The federal government eventually steps in and threatens these corporations with sanctions, taxes, prosecutions, etc., unless they open stores in "disadvantaged" neighborhoods. This has all been done before in the 70's, 80's, 90's.
