Avatar and District 9 are movies made by intelligent people who know how to tell compelling stories. It's unfortunate that they didn't receive as much attention as they deserved. However, I don't understand the appeal of movies like Hunger Games and Twilight it’s seems like people just have a declined of intelligence in the 2010s era only cared about teen drama and politics all that kind of shit

I mean the hunger games is a dystopian story but we have had dystopian stories for a very long time. I think the reason why the hunger games is mentioned is because the way the world there is set up hits a little close to home and people are getting a message of "-ism is the cause of this suffering"
