Yes they are amateurs. Mike Gallagher did not want to impeach Mayorkas because he thought it would set a dangerous precedent that could be used against Republicans in the future.. A precedent assumes something that has never happened before. Did this moron forget about the two phony impeachment's the democrats ran on President Trump? Republicans need to smarten up and realize that they have to fight back using the same tactics democrats have been using against them. There is no more civil discourse, Democrats have weaponized the DOJ and are trying to lock up anyone that opposes tham. Amateurs, These bozosneed to get out of the way and let somebody with balls do the job.
They don't want Biden to gave any successes to his name. They also tried to impeach him with no evidence and found out that there is no evidence to find in order to even attempt that.

Oh, sure, they're supposed to vote for some massive bill with all sorts of crazy stuff in it without any debate (Senate Majority Leader wanted to vote on it within three days). Do you have any idea how major legislation is supposed to work in a democracy? It obviously wasn't a bipartisan bill.
Your propaganda take is, as usual, completely and utter BS.
No I want responsible govt that spends money wisely. Would it not be better to stop trying to catch illegals and just allow them entry, inject GPS trackers and then tax their earnings?
And again, they are simple questions that I don’t care about. Repubs have again demonstrated they are too amateur to govern.
Well, those simple question disprove your BS. You aren't a serious person.
A responsible government doesn't open its borders and let in unlimited numbers of people whose identities are unknown, some of whom are criminals, gang/cartel members, terrorists, or CCP spies/saboteurs.
There isn't housing and there isn't enough employment for the illegals (and that employment should go to people who are in the country legally). And they are never going to be net taxpayers. In New York City, they have set up a large underground economy where they buy things from each other without paying any taxes.
You have no business calling anyone an amateur simply because they don't go along with the idiotic policies you or your party want.
1. Employment, housing and illegals aren’t connected
2. There’s been no terrorists nor spies crossing the border ever. Theyve been welcomed by Republicans openly at the Capitol or in the Oval.
3. Funny cuz they do turn out to be net taxpayers with sales tax.
4. What underground economy and where can I join?
Once again, you spew utter BS and can't support it. It's completely embarrassing.
Sure, dozens of millions of illegals couldn't possibly have any effects on housing or employment. Only in leftist dream world.
Sales taxes, paid to a large extent by money given to the illegals does not make them "net taxpayers". Do you know what it means to be a "net taxpayer"? Do the illegals pay for their emergency room visits or their government-provided housing? Who actually pays?
The Border Patrol and DHS, who would know, says that there have been known terrorists coming over the border. And out of 10 million illegals, you know all of them and say none could possibly be terrorists, gang/cartel members or spies. But you think your political opponents are all terrorists.
All of the world’s population could fit into Texas. So space isn’t a problem.
Immigrants commit fewer crimes. Dont get welfare and pays sales tax on the shit they buy.
And…”Are terrorists flooding across the border? Probably not," said Theresa Cardinal Brown, a former Department of Homeland Security official.
So please tell me the downsides
BS? You seemingly forget the 850,000,000,000 (EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY BILLION DOLLARS$2,400 or so for each Yankee) war budget which keeps America from having single-payer health care, top-rated schools regardless of a child's background, free higher education, upgraded infrastructure and other aspects of F, irst World Country life that citizens of every other wealthy nation expect, even demand as part of their citizenship.
Ah, Odd, they do get welfare of various sorts. And how much do you think sales tax is? Is it enough to cover all those emergency room visits? No, they don't...
www.forbes.com/.../?sh=4c6b7e5f61aa
And that's just health care. Doesn't even to education and the welfare benefits for US-born children of the illegals. There are a lot of sanctuary cities housing, feeding and providing medical care to illegals, so you can't say that they can't get welfare.
You are completely deranged if you think Texas could hold 8 billion people. Any idea how much housing would be then? Remember, 8 billion people is close to 300 times the number of people that currently reside in Texas.
Illegals lower wages and raise the cost of housing for low- and semi-skilled legal residents as well as not being net taxpayers. There is also a lot of fraud on their part in the EITC and ACTC.
And your dishonest attempt to pretend that terrorists aren't crossing the border by quoting someone using the word "flooding" is pathetic.
www.msn.com/.../ar-AA1iHibd
I wonder how many were among the "getaways". You're caught lying, as usual.
Bahahaha “736 ‘terrorists’ at the northern border” dumbass.
highlandcountypress.com/.../northern-border-continues-outpace-southwest-border-terrorist-connected-apprehensions
The weirdest shit is that they've done this before. 12 years ago the senate hammered out a bipartisan border bill and the republican house shot it down, demanded Obama fix it with executive orders, and then howled in protest when Obama tried to do that.
I am kind of what you would call middle of the road and independent and I have caught both parties not adhering to what they preach. Republican lawmakers actually own businesses where they hire illegal aliens and they know it. I have seen Republican lawmakers be super soft on illegal entry because they know it's cheap exploitable labor. I don't like either party, because both are not 100% Constitutional and are complete hypocrites. I don't have much hope for this country.
Yeah nevermind the massive foreign aid spending and the quotas to allow migrants in... That bill was a joke so journalists and people like you could do this.
Ukraine should've never gotten a dollar from us and Israel and Palestine should receive $0 from us.
How does billions to Ukraine help US border security? Why am I not surprised you’re a moron on this topic also.
That’s a cool story and a lot of whataboutism but doesn’t answer my question. And you morons spent the last 3 years saying the border was secure, remember?
Yes that’s what compromise means. We Dems are smart and know there is no border crisis. But if it shuts you bitches up for half a second sure we’ll fund some border wall if you help fund our fight against fascism.
We know how much you fucks love Putin’s fascism. But it’s best if Ukraine wins.
Oh, there’s no border crisis. So why would we throw billions at it? Here’s a pro-tip. If you’re going to try to gaslight people, at least make some coherent sense.
@gorydetails It’s like talking to someone with Dows syndrome. I just said we used your fear of immigrants to fund our fight against fascism. Fucking moron.
@Juxtapose Marxists who are pro capitalists. You’re pretty fucking stupid.
I'll get right on that after you explain how giving billions to Ukraine helps the southern US border
So it wasn’t a border security bill. So shut the fuck up.
@Juxtapose they also had a literal dictatorship.
It just proves you shits are insincere when you pretend to be upset the border bill didn’t pass.
As retarded as sending billions to Ukraine?
The Democrats really want to pretend the Republicans are the retarded ones for not taking a huge giveaway to Ukraine along with Band-Aids for the border 🤣
Bruh, we don't need to make new laws to enforce existing laws. We already know who are the lawbreakers, actually enforce the fucking law and deport these motherfuckers. Implement remain in Mexico, it is really that easy.
yes, in clown world it’s responsible to spend money we don’t have on people not in this country.
Well fuckstick, Zelensky just announced non citizens can join their national guard.. So time for you to man up and go fight for ukraine. Be sure to say 'hey' to the CIA as you run by.
You've yet to give a valid reason why billions to ukraine secures the US border. The second you can do that we can move forward.
What part bout subsidizing other countries is capitalism?
Oh yeah, I forgot that’s the nonsense y’all are using to spin this. There was a time you shits were against subsidizing billion dollar private companies.
Sorry, you're anti-thought.
Well, they're amateur insurrectionists but professional white supremacists.
the real white supremacists are the primary voters of democrats who refused to support anyone but old biden the white.
but try to distract from democrat history of slavery and anti integration. pathetic.
@strateguy632 not to mention the great switch theory between the two political parties is a demonstrable lie.
@Juxtapose demonstrable? Are you saying liberals were the slave owners?
Democrats have never really been liberal. Joe Biden was a segregationist and talked about integrated schools as racial jungles. Democrats also purposely destroyed the black nuclear family to keep them down also simultaneously pandering to them.
The whole game plan is to keep black people as perpetual victims so they can serve on the Democrat plantation.
@Juxtapose you are prone to fallacies of authority. I don’t care what Malcom X or some DC Congress aid. Liberals were the abolitionists. The conservatives were the religious pro status quo racists. Same as today.
Why don’t the KKK and Neo Nazis vote Democrat. You both gone full retard on this.
@Juxtapose precisely. And where are the liberals today?
BS. White voters have supported the REPIGLIKKKLANS in every election since 1964 . When Pres. Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil and Voting Rights Acts in 1964 and 1965 respectively, he told the assembled reporters,"Boys (guess there were almost no girl reporters about 60 years ago, at least those covering hard news such as politics), we've given the Republicans the South for a generation." Well, LBJ was off by about 36 years;this will be the FIFTEENTH straight Presidential election in which the GOP ("Goobers, Oddballs, Popinjays") will get a majority of white votes.
Lol, who is this nerd whining about white people?
As Brian Tyler Cohen said, "make it make sense."
https://www.youtube.com/embed/0NUjaf1Pyf8"Donald Trump doesn't want a border solution he wants a border problem, nothing else to run on, and Vladimir Putin certainly doesn't want $60 billion going to the heroic people of Ukraine defying his filthy imperialist Invasion. All over the world, democracy and freedom are under siege today and all our colleagues can think to do is to sell out our Democratic allies and sell out the cause of Human Rights and then impeach a cabinet secretary working diligently to solve the immigration problem that they claim to care about you" (Jamie Raskin)
Senator Chris Murphy (D - CT) perfectly explains what happened in this interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMjZxsJNRtE
Securing the southern border shouldn't be contingent on sending tens of billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. Far-left liberals and socialists in this country care more about Ukraine's borders than our own borders. That's unacceptable.
The bill sucks. It allows 5,000 people to enter the border illegally per day.
Obviously you don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about, as usual.
Quote:
Republican critics of the bill have seized on this provision in particular, claiming it would allow the Biden administration to “release” 5,000 migrants into the United States a day. Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), the GOP’s lead negotiator on the bill, has pushed back on that claim, saying it is the “most misunderstood section” of the bipartisan proposal.
“This is not about letting 5,000 people in a day,” Lankford told Fox News last month. “This is not someone standing at the border with a little clicker saying, ‘I’m going to let one more in. We’re at 4,999,’ and then it has to stop. It is a shutdown of the border and everyone actually gets turned around.”
www.washingtonpost.com/.../
@DryGermanGuy that's bullshit and he has NOTHING to substantiate it.
@Juxtapose "that's bullshit and he has NOTHING to substantiate it. "
It's what "Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), the GOP’s lead negotiator on the bill" was saying.
You think he's lying?
Don't you think thousands more border patrol agents would help? How about a thousand more agents to help deal with fentanyl imports (90% of which come through the border in the possession of US citizens at normal ports of entry)? How about judges to process claims more quickly and legally throw out people who don't comply with the law?
That's what Biden asked Congress for on day 1 of his presidency.
"Unless it closes the border UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY to illegals, I am not for it."
You realise that that's UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY impossible, right?
HE IS The GOP LEAD NEGOTIATOR and has invested months and months of work into this bill!!! He knows obviously every page and detail in it! Are you mental or something?
There is no "utterly and completely closed border" in the whole world!!! Ask Israel about the Gaza Strip, which is not even 1/1000 the length of the American Southern border. Arrive in reality, you child. This bill is about tightening and improvements and speeding up deportation proceedings, that's why actual experts like the border patrol union endorses it!!! Do you know better than the border patrol union?
lol the bill is crafted by RINOs who want to give a big hand out to open border weirdos.
Do they at the very least reimplement the remain in Mexico policy? No? That's what I fucking thought. It's a big gift to open border fanatics like I said.
Biden inherited one of the safest borders and turned it into a cesspool.
But yeah, do you think any state would have signed on to be part of a group that is ruled by a single entity if that single entity could tell the individual states they did not have the right to defend themselves?
It's preposterous. Go ahead and tell Massachusetts during the founding of the country that the feds have the final say if they can defend against an invasion.
@Juxtapose When the US was born, and for a century after, they had no restrictions on immigration.
Something that "originalists" never want to return to, for some reason.
Immigration and asylum are not an invasion of the type the laws are talking about. Ukraine is.
@goaded you have to go back almost 200 years for that to be relevant dude. We still had slaves before immigration lol.
What is happening at the southern border is absolutely an invasion and absolutely will result in a terrorist attack. Not vetting people coming into the United States is suicidal.
Not only that but it's going to lead to sex trafficking and trafficking of extremely dangerous drugs.
Why do you think that the border is open, or that terrorists would chance a dangerous crossing when they can just train people and send them as tourists to airports? It's not like they have to smuggle in firearms, is it?
You need an army for it to be a proper invasion, immigrants are a metaphorical invasion, at worst.
Why not provide the president with the resources he's asked for to secure the border? It's not like it was secure under Trump, either.
Yeah, hence the request for more Border Patrol to catch and more judges so that they can be processed quickly. Why wouldn't Republicans agree to providing them?
(It's because they want a problem at the border because Trump's an insurrectionist, and the economy is doing remarkably well, without any signs of the recession Trump is hoping for.)
Yeah? So why didn't Trump close the border completely? He had four years.
No, you need new laws, more people to enforce laws properly, or both. Republicans are voting against both since Trump decided he needs a border problem to run on.
It's another example of Republicans not taking YES for an answer. Either the border is a massive problem, in which case they should take anything they can get (which was everything anyone but the nutcases asked for), or it's not. Just a few Republicans in both chambers would have got the bill passed.
It's called compromise. Giving up some things you want to get some other things you want. Not compromising means nobody gets what they want, which is what MAGA wants.
Trump - even in the eyes of experienced GOP lawmakers - has no clue what he is ranting and raving about:
https://youtu.be/kJOyqeEBFfk?si=WT0oSDHwlK2GsNwf
I don't care about negotiating with the deep state regardless of their political party. Bernie Sanders (pre-blackmail) and Vivek Ramaswamy are more honest while Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton are purely sociopathic, Machiavellian schemers.
Trump isn't my first choice, he didn't pardon Julian Assange. But damn does he look fine compared to these weird Marxists
Authoritarian leftists can't tell you what a woman is, why we need a border or why we the people deserve to be as free as possible and not treated like subjects.
If people can't tell me what a woman is then there is a major malfunction there. You may as well not be able to tell me what is up and what is down at that point. Trans suicides by the way are bullshit. Very similar suicide rates even after transitioning.
They're the owner class. George Carlin describes some pretty well if you want me to find that clip again.
You're nuts. Here's what the WSJ says about it (I expect you'll be claiming it's left-wing, next): "By any honest reckoning, this is the most restrictive migrant legislation in decades. Previous immigration talks have involved trading security measures for legalizing more immigration. There is little of the latter in this bill—nothing for nearly all of the Dreamers who were brought here illegally as children, no general pathway to citizenship or green cards for most illegal immigrants already in the U. S. "
@goaded why should there be any trading of security measures for legalizing more of what is unsustainable? Compromising with open border fanatics is a losing proposition and if you give them an inch they will take a mile.
And I stand firm by my stance that any sort of action against illegal immigration that does not implement remain in Mexico is a waste of breath, paper and ink.
@goaded the border was great under Trump and now everything is COMPLETELY fucked under Biden & friends. Gee I wonder why?
Fuck that. Not one more illegals, all of them in the United States should be deported. No compromise, no surrender. The deep state or dumb ideologies shouldn't be entertained.
So what have Republicans in Congress voted for to try to solve the problem?
Did they vote to allow Biden to have the 4,000 new Border Patrol agents, 1,000 drug enforcement agents, and sufficient judges to reduce the time asylum seekers stay in the country from ten years to six months? (That's what Biden asked for on day 1 of his presidency.)
They did not.
Now they came up with a bipartisan bill to deal with the border (Republican's demand in exchange for desparately needed aid to Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel). Did they vote for that?
They did not. Suddenly, the crisis at the border wasn't really important.
Republicans have chosen to allow the situation at the border to continue unchanged, instead. Because Trump has nothing else to run on.
Republicans are blaming Biden for the boat sinking while refusing to hand him the bucket he needs to bail it out.
(As to the border being "great" under Trump, in 2020, it was probably because the US had a 40% higher death rate from covid than Mexico; because of Trump.)
oversightdemocrats.house.gov/.../oversight-democrats-call-out-republican-efforts-to-play-politics-on-immigration
"“Today, our MAGA colleagues are using their first full committee hearing of 2024 to distract from the depressing reality that they have failed to bring forward even a single piece of bipartisan legislation to seriously improve our immigration system and confront our major challenges on the southern border. The 118th Congress is shaping up to be one of the most unproductive, with only 34 bills signed into law in 2023—a fraction of the number typically enacted each year. They simply have no program for America and just operate at the beck and call of Donald Trump,” said Ranking Member Raskin in his opening statement."
@goaded
1. We don't have room for asylum seekers and a lot of these so-called asylum seekers are economic migrants. They are spending around $10K to go through over a dozen countries to get the United States. Yeah.. sure.. they're in sssooooo much danger xD
2. Fuck whatever Biden wants.
3. Covid was bullshit. You could get shot in the head while you were sick with covid and they would rule it as a covid death. Total hoax. It was a bio weapon made in China and funded by Dr. Fauci. The deep state wanted to figure out how far they could push people into obedience and condition them into obedience as well.
4. Yeah I don't give a flying fuck what RINOs working with these open border fanatics cook up. I explained multiple times why that bill is bullshit. It's all theater without remain in Mexico and Joe Biden is apparently so sincere about protecting the border that he takes away barbed wire?
1. Then process them quickly and get rid of them. You can do that by giving the president the ability to nominate more judges. The Democrat plan is to reduce the turnaround time from 10 years to 6 months.
2. Ah, the heart of what you "believe". Own the libs.
3. 7 million fake deaths worldwide. Sure.
4. Taking away barbed wire to save the lives of women and children is a bad thing, in your mind?
@goaded
1. We don't need the Democrats and their bullshit they tie into bullshit Ukraine funding. Enforce existing border laws and maybe when you become president don't immediately get rid of remain in Mexico and other policies that works so well? And maybe also don't cut down barricades that people put up because you are so incompetent that the state has to take care of it itself? We don't need a new bill to enforce existing laws.
Shit like this is why a line item veto should have been implemented. If you want immigration to be easier for honest people, make a separate bill that is not tied to funding a war that has nothing to do with us.
2. I *AM* a liberal. There is no liberal representation at the moment, the Democrats are filled with Marxist and at best some of the Republicans are more moderate and willing to concede some points with classical liberals such as Glenn Greenwald. Vivek Ramaswamy is the closest thing we have had to a liberal since Bernie Sanders was taken out of the picture via blackmail.
AOC, Joe Biden, Barack Obama.. none of them are liberal. They are progressives.
3. https://youtu.be/Tw9Ci2PZKZg?si=R7gf5be7-TWgQNFf
Yep, I am dead serious.
4. Excuse me but who is crawling through the barbed wire of their own free will to break the law? You act like they are being forced through the barbed wire and killed by an external force. They made the choice to crawl through that barbed wire.
@Juxtapose I get it, only your opinion matters, not the opinions of the majority of Americans, or scientists. Most people don't want desperate people to die trying to get a better life. Most of the millions of people recorded as dying of covid died of covid. Many of the people who weren't recorded as dying of covid died of covid. Excess deaths paint an obvious picture.
@Juxtapose Can you feel the anger of wanting to be a label and people like us denying it? Maybe ask yourself what a liberal and a woman is.
@OddBeMe I debate with you guys for entertainment, not for validation. I know what I am and I don't need anybody else to confirm that.
I'll answer your question anyway though!
A liberal is like a libertarian but they put a leash on businesses via regulation. A liberal it's like Thomas Jefferson, Glenn Greenwald, George Carlin, etc. They are NOT authoritarian leftists, a. k. a Marxists.
A woman is an adult human female. You can determine if someone is male or female with a DNA test, examining their skeletal structure or in the vast majority of cases, simply looking at them and noticing their secondary sexual characteristics.
@goaded oh spare me, your fanatic Marxism does not represent the majority of American's opinions and most Americans know that something was up with covid that was pretty fishy. Scientists that were censored know that very well too! Just ask Dr Robert Malone.
Yeah I don't care about these people that are trying to break into my country because their country sucks. I really don't fucking care about them, America and American citizens come first. Fix your own damn country and if you need asylum then go to a country that is close to you rather than go all the way to America to become an economic migrant. Probably an illegal alien as well.
The covid deaths were utterly fabricated because of profit motive and the medicine they pimped out doesn't even really work. Countries who didn't do these oppressive lockdowns did pretty well and you don't need to mandate this ineffective medicine that actually causes a lot of people to get blood clots.
Sigh. I never said my beliefs (which you summarise in a totally bullshit way) "represent the majority of American's opinions" I said "Most people don't want desperate people to die trying to get a better life." and "Most of the millions of people recorded as dying of covid died of covid. Many of the people who weren't recorded as dying of covid died of covid. Excess deaths paint an obvious picture.".
I'd love to see your argument that the majority of Americans DO want people to be killed if they try to get into the US.
As to the excess deaths worldwide, are you really suggesting that none of the 1.3 million excess deaths in the US over the last three years were due to covid?
@Juxtapose As to your claim that "We don't need the Democrats and their bullshit...", and your hope that they will be replaced in future elections, that doesn't affect the fact that you need to compromise with them NOW, if you want to get ANYTHING passed in Congress.
Of course, Republicans can (and apparently will) continue to get nothing done and keep screaming about how terrible the situation is right now while doing nothing to improve it and blocking any attempts anyone else makes. Let's see how that plays out with the voters. You can fool some of the people all of the time...
Just a reminder: the way things are supposed to work is that you let the governing party do most of what they want and point out what they did wrong in order to win the next election. Moderate lawmakers on either side would vote for legislation they could support, even if some in their party object. Republicans have chosen to demand minority rule instead.
@Juxtapose So what science is behind woman being all adult females? Ovarian cycle? Cuz elderly “women” don’t have that. See? It’s complicated and completely meaningless.
@Juxtapose I’ll also note…. ill go along with your right wing liberalism if you concede there’s right wing socialism. Boom done.
@OddBeMe ask the scientists who examine your skeletal structure hundreds of years after you're dead and can determine what sex you are.
I am not right wing, you have falsely conflated everything that does not align with your authoritarian version of leftism as right-wing. I am a classical liberal.
I mean for fuck sakes man you want to trade people between countries like they are slaves and you want to claim to be liberal?
@goaded the excess deaths if anything are because of the side effects of the vaccine.
And no, I have absolutely no interest in having any political party with even a few brain cells left compromising with the Democrats. They are just as corrupt as the Bush era Republicans were and I want absolutely nothing to do with them.
Don't think I am buddy buddy with the Republicans either, most of them need to go as well. Such as Mitt Romney.
But yeah, no compromise with open the border Marxists who can't tell you what a woman is. Just look at what this compromise was, a giant fucking hand out to Ukraine. That country doesn't deserve a single penny from us and no foreign aid should be given to any country whatsoever until America solves all its problems at home.
@Juxtapose Oh, FFS. "the excess deaths if anything are because of the side effects of the vaccine." Except they predate the vaccines by a good year. You're really posting nonsense, now.
@OddBeMe That's just some weird made up rule you pulled out of your ass. Now when you start cussing at me and using at home and attacks, that's when I know I hut your nerve, heh.
@goaded first they bullshit the number and then the vaccine deaths help them have to bullshit a little less.
However you want to cut it, covid was not something that needed us to surrender our right to movement, our right to free speech and our right to bodily autonomy.
"However you want to cut it, covid was not something that needed us to surrender our right to movement, our right to free speech and our right to bodily autonomy. "
It did if you wanted to keep hundreds of thousands of Americans alive. (Oh, and you didn't lose your "right to free speech and our right to bodily autonomy" in any way.)
Germany, a country far more densely populated than the US, had 1/3rd fewer deaths per capita than the US. That's over 300,000 unnecessary deaths.
Australia and New Zealand, who had the luxury of largely keeping the disease out of their countries, had less than 1/2 Germany's and 1/3rd of the US's deaths per capita.
You can say whatever you like, it doesn't make it true. The number of people who died in the pandemic years over the number of people who died in previous years match the numbers of people reported as dying from covid.
Nice to know that you don't give a shit about your fellow Americans.
@Juxtapose Haven't you learned by now that far-left liberals and socialists in this country (and elsewhere, apparently) are more concerned with Ukraine's borders than our own borders, and want to treat illegal immigrants better than they treat people who immigrated here LEGALLY (very important key word that frequently goes conveniently unused), homeless military veterans who served this country, poor people who were born here, and citizens with ongoing mental health issues?
www.cbsnews.com/.../
Where's the debit cards for all of the other people I mentioned above?
I hate the Diet Soviet Union. However, worrying about Ukraine's borders with our tax dollars before fixing our own borders is like helping your neighbors put out their house fire with your hose and your water whilst your own house is ablaze.
@OddBeMe "All of the world’s population could fit into Texas. So space isn’t a problem."
Okay, great. Good idea. You're in Texas, correct? Volunteer your residence and money, and your residence and money only. Pack it up fully like a clown car, and then let us all know how that works out for you. 👍
@Juxtapose You did not "literally show [me] how they fake the numbers", because they didn't. You seem to think that just because there were some anecdotal mistakes made that that could possibly make a dent in the hundreds of thousands of actual covid deaths, which, once again, match up with the excess deaths for the pandemic years over previous years.
@goaded nope, wrong. I showed you proof. Try to deny it all you want but I know the truth now. You covid fuckers aren't ever going to pull this trick again on people.
@NYCQuestions1976 to the point where they will display that flag over their own country's flag. It's frankly revolting and people don't even realize the country is giving Hunter Biden money and he is then giving his father money. It's a big money laundering scheme and of course it enriches the military industrial complex.
Funny how the progressives are now so pro war. We need some real liberals up in this bitch.
@Juxtapose Well I'm definitely not a liberal, and I support putting the Diet Soviet Union in its place, but not before our own borders are properly addressed, and not to the tune of hundreds of billions of my tax dollars. Order Of Operations. I learned that in grade school mathematics, which apparently, is now racist.
@Juxtapose "@goaded nope, wrong. I showed you proof. Try to deny it all you want but I know the truth now. You covid fuckers aren't ever going to pull this trick again on people." I showed you proof that a million more Americans died than usual in 2020 and 2021. What do you think they died of, boredom?
Every country around the world was affected, but somehow it was all a trick.
Juxtajoker:
You are still an uneducated peasant and you always will be. It's the already convicted Trump crime family that has demonstrably received millions from foreign governments, including China. On the other hand, the idiots that wanted to impeach Joe Biden and his son for taking money have now egg on their faces because the GOP-assigned special prosecutor has indicted their infamous FBI source for lying.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woDbst5LJrU
@DryGermanGuy CNN is biased and unreliable.
"CNN is biased and unreliable" Says the guy linking Republican press releases written before the source for most of the accusations got arrested for passing on Russian disinformation. Their one remaining "witness" has already been proven not to have been in a meeting he claimed to have been part of.
No, it's not. You are just bemoaning the fact that they don't want to pander to MAGA bullshit, like 2000 Mules, Jewish space lasers and Biden crime family. And yes, witch hunts are witch hunts, especially when the witch hunters have nothing more but Russian disinformation.
@Juxtapose With those low prices, you should see if they want to buy the Brooklyn Bridge. 😂
@goaded that's absurd and this deranged cunt is even bragging on Twitter how she is going to charge Trump interest even though he has a right to appeal and appealing takes time. She has made numerous speeches about trying to take him down.
Credible real estate agents say literally everybody operates their property like Trump does, like Kevin O'Leary.
And the stupid judge determined the value arbitrarily and without giving Trump a chance to make his case. She is trying to fuck over Trump so hard she is ruining the legal system and making everyone guilty.
@NYCQuestions1976 no kidding 😂
@Juxtapose You mean Trump's going be treated exactly the same way anyone else found guilty of the same crimes? How unreasonable. Don't they know who he is?
I guess you can name other "Credible real estate agents" than Mr. O'Leary? Or real estate agents who lie to the extent Trump did?
@goaded What crimes? What lies? Do you honestly believe that banks loan hundreds of millions of dollars to real estate developers without doing their own extensive and thorough financial audits? Get real. If all of those banks' financial audits didn't match Trump's financial estimates for his properties, all of those banks would've never loaded him a damn cent. Also, all of those banks were paid back, on time, with interest. Your TDS makes you gullible.
@NYCQuestions1976 What's with people not believing the courts any more? Not to mention that bank employees wouldn't bend the rules to make an extra couple of million. I know from personal experience that they'll happily break the law for personal gain.
@goaded Commercial business banks are in the business of making hoards of money, not losing hoards of money. No bank is going to loan hundreds of millions of dollars to any person or company without doing their due diligence and/or if they believe that the potential borrower is a financial liar and/or is a huge financial risk. It just doesn't happen at that level. That's how anyone with common sense knows that the judge and prosecutor in this case were (and are) both full of shit.
@NYCQuestions1976 That's the reason Trump hasn't been able to get any bank but Deutsche to lend him money for years.
@NYCQuestions1976 Bankers are going to look the other way to get a percentage of a 5% interest loan instead of the 8% interest loan they should be offering, if they're worried they won't get either by insisting on realistic evaluations. It's still fraud. And, by the way, "estimating" low on tax forms and high when asking for loans is both fraud and tax evasion.
@NYCQuestions1976 So what? The amount paid back was less than the amount he'd have had to pay if he'd been honest. Why don't you respect the rule of law? Trump's free to appeal the verdict, and maybe the interest will convince him not to play his usual game of delaying for years.
@NYCQuestions1976 Bank employees commit crimes all the time. They even bring down their banks in extreme circumstances. Of course they'd pretend to believe nonsense if it makes them rich.
"The remarkably troubled recent history of Deutsche Bank, its past money-laundering woes — and the bank’s striking relationship with Trump — are the subjects of this week’s episode of the “Trump, Inc.” podcast. The German bank loaned a cumulative total of around $2.5 billion to Trump projects over the past two decades, and the bank continued writing him nine-figure checks even after he defaulted on a $640 million obligation and sued the bank, blaming it for his failure to pay back the debt."
www.propublica.org/.../trump-inc-podcast-deutsche-bank-donald-trump
@NYCQuestions1976 Propublica, the news organisation that exposed the Clarence Thomas scandal. Trust you not to bother even clicking on a link.
@NYCQuestions1976 Four Pulisers since 2010, but you think it's just a podcast. Makes as much sense as your lies about what Trump did.
@NYCQuestions1976 as soon as you prove your point they start saying that bank employees can't be trusted and they lie all the time. It seems like the only people trustworthy to them are the people against Trump who have a political interest in taking him down.
Sus.
@Juxtapose I've experienced personally bank employees being willing to break the law in order to get at my money. You're the ones saying they're angels and do masses of due dilligence before they collect their commissions.
@NYCQuestions1976
There is a vast difference of getting a loan as a private person and as a corporation with a CFO, handing over signed financial statements. Why do you think Allen Weisselberg is also sitting in the dock?
@DryGermanGuy Allen Weisselberg, who was convicted of fraud and sentenced to five months at Rykers Island?
@DryGermanGuy Allen Weisselberg, who is reportedly in discussions with the Manhattan district attorney's office about pleading guilty to perjury?
@DryGermanGuy Allen Weisselberg, who is now permanently banned from having financial control in any New York business or corporation? Last one, I promise! C:
The very one! Probably now another nail in the coffin for the Trumpster.
@DryGermanGuy @goaded I don't doubt that banks cut corners with private individual loans. Banks want to generate mass quantities of wealth. Period. They are far more likely to take a "leap of faith" or bend/break a law with individual private mortgages than multi-million dollar industrial and commercial loans, because those massive paybacks with interest on those gigantic business loans are what keep the bank in the black, and financially cover the bank if those private individual borrowers default on their loans.
@Juxtapose Their TDS makes me laugh.
@NYCQuestions1976 I wasn't asking for a loan, they wanted my money, not the other way around. Clearly, the banks were willing "to take a "leap of faith" or bend/break a law" with Trump, that's why he's been convited of fraud. You're as correct as always.
@goaded No, don't be obtuse. Low-risk large business loans (like the ones made to Trump's organizations, and were paid back on time with interest) are what keep the bank in the black, and what financially covers the private loans that are made to the rest of humanity. Especially when the rest of humanity defaults on their private loans.
@NYCQuestions1976 Now you're just lying about what I'm saying. Here it is again:
I wasn't asking for a loan, they wanted my money, not the other way around. Clearly, the banks were willing "to take a "leap of faith" or bend/break a law" with Trump, that's why he's been convited of fraud. You're as correct as always.
His CFO has been convicted of fraud and is on the hook for perjury. Trump's organisation was convicted of fraud. Trump himself has been convicted of fraud, as have his sons. He's a fraud, and you're covering for him because you're a troll.
@NYCQuestions1976 That's why most US recessions start with a Republican president and end with a Democrat. You're nothing but a sad troll.
@NYCQuestions1976
See, that's where you oversimplifying. Trump makes a lot of people across the political spectrum sad and angry because of the bullshit, chaos and incompetence that follows him. I am a centrist, people like Mitt Romney, John McCain and Liz Cheney are no socialists either. The current congress is the least productive in history, because of the GOP infighting bullshit, especially in the House! You don't have to be on the left or even in politics to be pissed about that!
@DryGermanGuy Less government production usually means less taxpayer dollars being spent. Usually. Unfortunately we're still sending tens of billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine instead of using that money here.
Supporting Ukraine over the Diet Soviet Union? Good. Supporting Ukraine with tens of billions of taxpayer dollars? Bullshit.
@NYCQuestions1976 "I'm not covering for anyone. I just enjoy how Trump makes far-left liberals and socialists sad and angry. Anyone who's the enemy of far-left liberals and socialists is good in my book, and more importantly, good for the United States."
Beautifully said and I am in full agreement.
@NYCQuestions1976 Unlike you, I can tell when I'm losing an argument. Being against moderate left wing priorities, which is where the Democratic party is, is just bad for the country. And that's all bitter you've got.
Tax breaks for the rich. It's not border control, or the bill which gave them almost everything they wanted would have passed. It's not democracy, or that bill would have come up for a vote and passed.
Oh, and controlling women's bodies. If they believed in states' rights, they wouldn't be proposing federal limits on abortion.
Stacking the courts and the military leadership is another popular move. Block Democrats from making reasonable appointments, then force though unreasonable appointments against the historical rules of the Senate without a good reason.
But mostly it's just bitter people not liking the fact that Democratic policies generally make people's lives better.
@goaded "Being against moderate left wing priorities, which is where the Democratic party is, is just bad for the country."
You're so delusional over how far left you are, that it varies between entertaining and sickening.
"But mostly it's just bitter people not liking the fact that Democratic policies generally make people's lives better."
WRONG. Democrat policies only make policies that favor far-left liberals and socialists, limousine liberals, and illegal immigrants.
"Stacking the courts and the military leadership is another popular move."
Who should make military leadership appointments? Government DEI morons? Get bent. Also, who's been doing the majority of the pushing for the tens of billions of taxpayer dollars being sent to Ukraine? Go ahead and answer Republicans, and prove your stupidity again.
"Oh, and controlling women's bodies. If they believed in states' rights, they wouldn't be proposing federal limits on abortion."
There isn't a single country in the Union Of European Socialist Republics that allows abortions after 14 weeks. Glass houses.
Please continue to post nonsense and publicly humiliate yourself. It's fun for the masses to watch.
@OddBeMe Tax day is coming up. If you like so many far-left liberal and socialist policies, volunteer your own money annually when you do your taxes, and fund them yourself. You can always pay above your legal obligation. Stop volunteering other people's incomes. You can also start a GoFundMe. Have fun.
@NYCQuestions1976 "WRONG." Excellent counter-argument, there.
"There isn't a single country in the Union Of European Socialist Republics that allows abortions after 14 weeks"
Bullshit. Elective abortions, maybe, but there's a whole host of exceptions in almost all the countries. But very good coming up with a funny name for Europe.
e. g. UK:
"At any stage:
Risk to the life of pregnant woman
Prevent grave permanent injury to physical or mental health of pregnant woman
Substantial risk of serious physical or mental abnormalities in unborn child
Up to 24 weeks:
Risk of injury to physical or mental health of pregnant woman
Risk of injury to physical or mental health of any existing children of family of pregnant woman"
Germany:
" Risk to life of pregnant woman
Risk of grave impairment to physical or mental health of pregnant woman
Pregnancy as a result of criminal offence (up to 12 weeks)
Exceptional distress (at discretion of court)"
Even Catholic Ireland:
"Immediate serious risk to the life or of serious harm to the health of a pregnant woman (in an emergency)
Serious risk to the life or of serious harm to the health of a pregnant woman
Condition affecting unborn child that is likely to lead to his or her death (either before, or within 28 days of, birth)"
@goaded You're so perpetually wrong and dumb that you need to pronounce the "W" and the "B", respectively. Thus my concise and accurate counter argument stands.
The same exemptions exist here, and a number of states have the elective cutoff between 20 and 24 weeks. New Jersey and Oregon have no limits. Again, glass houses. The Union Of European Socialist Republics = 14 weeks. Go be a gullible hypocrite spreading bullshit somewhere else.
@NYCQuestions1976 yeah, he's grasping at straws and moving the goal post. Safe to say we won here!
@NYCQuestions1976 Why are you comparing the best US states to Europe, why not the worst compared with the worst?
How many US states have total bans on elective abortions? How many have a 6 week (one missed period, start organising your abortion as soon as you're a day late, ladies!) limit? How many West European countries do? (Hint: none.)
@Juxtapose I've noticed that only people who are losing arguments claim victory like that.
If you want to get back to the original subject, what do you think of the $4 billion to hire hire new asylum officers to legally process and eject people who don't deserve asylum? If you can throw more people out than are coming in, what's the problem?
@OddBeMe Are you housing any illegal immigrants on your own property yet, Mr. "The Entire World Population Of 8 Billion Could Fit In Texas"? 🤔😂
@goaded The United States is an independent Constitutional Republic, made up of 50 sovereign States. The Supreme Court ruled "States' Rights" on this issue. Also, I've already dealt with this issue myself, and quite effectively:
Would This Be A Fair Resolution To The Reproduction Rights Debate? ↗
Meanwhile, you continue to be a hypocrite in a glass house, and still believe that the United Kingdom is part of the Union Of European Socialist Republics, when they wisely decided to leave years ago.
"If you want to get back to the original subject, what do you think of the $4 billion to hire hire new asylum officers to legally process and eject people who don't deserve asylum? If you can throw more people out than are coming in, what's the problem?"
The problem is that it's tied to the condition that we send tens of billions more of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. Hard NO.
@NYCQuestions1976 "The problem is that it's tied to the condition that we send tens of billions more of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. Hard NO."
And the remain in Mexico policy is a sign of if the immigration debate is serious or not. Without remain in Mexico nothing's really going to get done.
@Juxtapose "Remain In Mexico" will return in November 2024. Stay tuned. 👍
@NYCQuestions1976 fuuuuck yeeaaah! I really hope he wins and we get to see all the screeching sjws losing their minds 🤜🤛
Only 22% of UK voters think Brexit was a good idea. It turned out exactly as we said it would. But of course you're just trying to avoid talking about the worst states for abortion access, some of which don't even have an exception for fatal fetal anomalies, and many laws are so vaguely written (by design) as to make doctors nervous of doing their best for their patients.
"The problem is that it's tied to the condition that we send tens of billions more of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. Hard NO."
That was a Republican demand, in order to consider a bill supporting democratic allies, it had to include border security. So they negotiated a bipartisan one, and House Republicans promptly decided not to even bring it up for a vote.
If the border's really such a massive problem, totally open, and with an invasion of illegal immigration going on as we speak, why suddenly say you're not going to bother doing anything about it for the next year? When you get what you ask for, you're supposed to vote for it.
@Juxtapose @NYCQuestions1976 The country doesn't belong to you two, it belongs to all Americans. Most of them disagree with you on many topics.
@goaded Blah, blah, blah. Once again, mind your own backyard before commenting on the status of other countries. No countries in the Union Of European Socialist Republics has a choice cutoff beyond 14 weeks, and no one intelligent and/or important cares what a socialist from Europe thinks about the United States.
The border needs to be addressed WITHOUT SENDING BILLIONS OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS TO UKRAINE!
The United States belongs to all AMERICANS, as in CITIZENS, not ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Socialism makes your head soft.
@NYCQuestions1976 What European country stops people from getting abortions before 6 weeks? What European country lets women die from pregnancy? What European country forces women to carry a dead fetus to term? None.
REPUBLICANS demanded that a bill to protect democracy should be linked to the southern border, then refused to vote for one that did and gave them many things they wanted. Now, they don't get the things they wanted. How is that sensible?
They don't want a solution to the border because that's all they have to divide the country, now Roe is gone.
@goaded Give it up already. None of those things are happening in any state in the United States. Just one time, try to be a free thinker that actually utilizes common sense and stop getting your "facts" from other socialists who are just as gullible and dumb as you.
The only ones trying to divide people are the far-left liberals and socialists, with their "everyone non-Caucasian are automatically victims" policies.
Yet again, getting Democrats to agree to properly secure the southern border shouldn't require Republicans to agree to send tens of billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. Get that through your thick soft socialist skull.
@goaded "I've noticed that only people who are losing arguments claim victory like that.
If you want to get back to the original subject, what do you think of the $4 billion to hire hire new asylum officers to legally process and eject people who don't deserve asylum? If you can throw more people out than are coming in, what's the problem?"
How am I losing when you cannot grasp the simple concept that I do not want to send a single cent to Ukraine in order to get something else done? And no remain in Mexico implemented? Yeah, this is not a serious bill.
@NYCQuestions1976 Give what up? All you do is lie, insult, and give stupid names to things, while I post facts.
Facts like: there isn't a single Western European country that has an abortion ban of six weeks or less. There are several US states that do.
Facts like: there isn't a single Western European country that forces doctors to wait to perform an abortion when the fetus has no chance of surviving. There are several US states that do.
Facts like: It was Republicans who demanded that border funding had to be part of any bill funding Ukraine or Israel.
You may not like it, but the way to get border funding is to agree to something the other side prioritizes. Obviously, Republicans are fine with no changes at the border.
@Juxtapose ⬆️ Get a load of @goaded here.⬆️
According to his "facts":
There isn't a single country currently in the Union Of European Socialist Republics that has a choice cutoff set at 14 weeks or less (while a Google search shows otherwise);
There are doctors in the United States that force pregnant women to die on purpose and force pregnant women to carry dead fetuses;
It's the Republicans, not Democrats, that want to tie border security funding to Ukraine funding;
Spending tens of billions of United States taxpayers' dollars on Ukraine is a reasonable "priority" of the Democrats, and the Republicans saying NO are "unreasonable".
He must be smoking bones the size of telephone poles. 😂😂😂
@NYCQuestions1976 My god, you're just straight up lying about the very post you're replying to. What a wanker.
@NYCQuestions1976 yep, I see nothing wrong with your summary of his nonsense. If anything he keeps moving the goal post to stop acknowledging the fact that the European Union is not some haven of abortion rights.
You're both utterly shameless, aren't you?
Me: "Facts like: there isn't a single Western European country that has an abortion ban of six weeks or less. There are several US states that do."
Liar: "According to his "facts":
There isn't a single country currently in the Union Of European Socialist Republics that has a choice cutoff set at 14 weeks or less (while a Google search shows otherwise);"
I suppose you can't tell the difference between 14 and 6.
@goaded Here, Stupid:
ballotpedia.org/Abortion_regulations_by_state
Thirty-five (that's THIRTY-FIVE, or 35) of fifty states (that's 70%, or SEVENTY PERCENT) have their choice cutoff set BEYOND (15 weeks or MORE) any country currently in the Union Of European Socialist Republics (14 weeks or LESS). Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom are all also in that category.
So again, mind your own backyard before criticizing other countries for not living up to your silly stupid socialism standards.
G L A S S
H O U S E S.
@NYCQuestions1976 Lying again. You're admitting that 15 states have their choice cutoff set before 15 weeks, although my point was that: "there isn't a single Western European country that has an abortion ban of six weeks or less. There are several US states that do."
Your lie: "According to [my] "facts":
There isn't a single country currently in the Union Of European Socialist Republics that has a choice cutoff set at 14 weeks or less (while a Google search shows otherwise);"
I never claimed that, you're lying.
@NYCQuestions1976 OMG, now 13 isn't "several"? I didn't even think the number of horrible states was that high!
@goaded Oh cry me a river. 74% of the states in the United States are 12 weeks or more, and I bet those 37 states account for around 85% to 90% of the total population. Meanwhile far-left liberals and socialists like yourself would have the general population believe that it's 100% in the other direction with your disingenuous disinformation. Socialism makes your brain soft. Just take your well-earned loss and move on.
@NYCQuestions1976 You don't seem to be getting the very obvious point: you're saying 13 states are shit to women when it comes to abortion.
"We're all very nice, if you ignore the monsters!"
@NYCQuestions1976 Guess what? That's you still trying to distract from your lies!
@goaded I guess you forgot you posted this:
"Bullshit. Elective abortions, maybe, but there's a whole host of exceptions in almost all the countries. But very good coming up with a funny name for Europe."
Meanwhile, here in REALITY, 35 of 50 states have their choice cutoff set BEYOND any country currently in the Union Of European Socialist Republics, with all of the same exceptions. Plus 2 additional states that are comparable (12 weeks compared to 14 weeks). So that's either 70% or 74% of the country. Take your pick. Either way, that makes me correct as usual, and makes you wrong as usual. Take your well-earned loss and move on.
@NYCQuestions1976 Yeah, we get you're never going to admit to your lie, but here it is again:
Me: "Facts like: there isn't a single Western European country that has an abortion ban of six weeks or less. There are several US states that do." (According to you, there are 13 with under 12 weeks, probably at either 6 weeks or zero.)
In the very next post you lied: "According to his "facts":
There isn't a single country currently in the Union Of European Socialist Republics that has a choice cutoff set at 14 weeks or less (while a Google search shows otherwise);"
Which is not a claim I ever made.
@goaded The lie is yours, and yours alone, when you tried to paint the Union Of European Socialist Republics as some bastion of abortion rights over the United States as a whole, which I convincingly disproved. It's not my fault that you can't handle factual reality. Here it is again:
ballotpedia.org/Abortion_regulations_by_state
@OddBeMe So then why have an influx of illegal immigrants as a financial burden, when we already have poor people who were born here that need support?
@NYCQuestions1976 My God, it's right there in black and white. What I said, and what you lied about what I said.
In the US, from your link: "Twelve states restrict abortion after conception, one state restricts abortion at six weeks post-fertilization". Not a single European country restricts abortion that much.
@goaded Nice attempt at distraction and transference. You constantly, continuously, and consistently drone on (here and elsewhere on this site) about how the United States as an entire country has far more restrictions on abortion access than the Union Of European Socialist Republics. Meanwhile, I've DECISIVELY PROVEN THAT THE EXACT OPPOSITE IS TRUE, because 74% of the states (37 of 50) in the United States have at least comparable, if not MORE abortion access. Thus my comments were 100% correct, and you're 100% a disturbing fountain of socialist disinformation.
@NYCQuestions1976 So you're saying that because only some women in the US are living under draconian abortion restrictions, that's somehow better than where none are. If you can't see the point, ask someone sensible to explain it to you.
And you've done that childish comment before.
@goaded So you're saying that because only some fetuses in the United States are living under draconian abortion access (22 states allow late-term, third trimester abortions, or even later), that's somehow better than where reasonable choice laws exist. If you can't see the point, ask someone sensible to explain it to you.
Good accurate comments are worth reposting.
@NYCQuestions1976 "or even later" FFS, you liar.
@goaded It's literally plain as day on the site:
ballotpedia.org/Abortion_regulations_by_state
"As of February 2, 2024, 42 states restricted abortions beginning at specific stages of pregnancy. The remaining eight* states and Washington, DC, did not."
*It's actually 7 states and Washington DC.
A total of 7 states (Alaska, Colorado, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Vermont) and Washington DC have zero abortion restrictions. That's "or even later" than late-term, third trimester abortions. So I'm correct again, as usual.
So once again, you're:
https://youtu.be/4GSXyo3euR4?si=14Qrw89ISlVBPFVL
@NYCQuestions1976 Yes, I know, you think only having part of the population being denied abortion from day 1 is better than having nobody being denied abortions until 12 weeks. You're obviously wrong because those people are suffering.
Are there abortions after 12 or 14 weeks in Europe? Yes, because there are exceptions for fatal fetus anomolies or risks to the parent. The nutter states in the US force women to keep a fetus that's never going to live until its heart stops.
This is what makes abortion law in the US worse than Europe. Justify states that don't let a pre-teen impregnated by her father to get an abortion.
@NYCQuestions1976 No. It's me saying: "Justify states that don't let a pre-teen impregnated by her father to get an abortion."
At this point you two are going to keep clashing over a subjective opinion.
Personally I don't think Europe is some bastion of abortion rights and I don't think the USA is some draconian hellhole. In the USA there are some states that allow it to go on for too long and some states that have the cutoff time a bit too short. The USA has a lot more variance than Europe does because we don't force everything to be the same.
@Juxtapose Exactly, and agreed. Using Texas and New Jersey as polar opposite examples, neither one is acceptable. However there are far more states closer to New Jersey's law (22 states) than there are to Texas's law (13 states), and far more states in the United States that have comparable or more lenient abortion laws (37 states) than the Union Of European Socialist Republics.
@goaded So growing up, did you call him "daddy", "grandpa", "grandpa daddy", or "daddy grandpa"? 🤔
@Juxtapose "At this point you two are going to keep clashing over a subjective opinion."
It's not a subjective opinion that when I said "Facts like: there isn't a single Western European country that has an abortion ban of six weeks or less. There are several US states that do." I was not saying "There isn't a single country currently in the Union Of European Socialist Republics that has a choice cutoff set at 14 weeks or less".
How is day 0 in the 13 states just "a bit too short"? Maybe six weeks is.
European countries all have their own laws. They've converged because they see their neighbours with reasonable compromises. (Even very Catholic Ireland fell into line because the people demanded it.)
@NYCQuestions1976 Fuck you, asshole. You've still to justify the states that would force a child to carry a incest pregnancy to term.
@goaded I agree that zero days is absolutely too short and 6 weeks is sufficient in my opinion. The United States unlike Europe uses the states as testing grounds for different laws such as marijuana legalization. Our laws are pretty mismatched between states and if you made gay marriage up to each state it would be the same deal. At the same time you see states going the other way and aborting a living creature that can feel intense pain.
But still, the majority of the states even despite their freedom still support abortion at a reasonable level. Some even more liberally than Europe.
Six weeks might as well be zero days; the time is counted from the preceding menstruation, so we're talking a week or two after missing a period. I'm sure that state (and Florida whose 6-day law is being contested) makes it really easy to organise an abortion in a week.
Just because some states are more liberal than European countries with their abortion laws doesn't mean the ones that are far, far worse should be ignored. This is the same stupid "logic" that says video of people not committing violent crimes means that the violent crimes on video didn't happen.
Europe is literally made up of different countries, most of which don't even share a language! Their legal systems have even less in common than US ones that are based on English law.
@goaded The part of that story where the victim had no choice but to go to Indiana for her abortion was fabricated bullshit invented by far-left liberal activists, in an effort rile up all the gullible deranged abortion nuts like yourself. Ohio and Indiana have IDENTICAL abortion laws (20 weeks post-fertilization):
ballotpedia.org/Abortion_regulations_by_state
That child victim NEVER needed to leave Ohio and go to Indiana for her abortion. Also, just to play Devil's Advocate, why didn't her lawyer and the other activists that leached on to this case take her to the other states with longer deadlines that are bordering Ohio? Both Michigan (fetus viability) and Pennsylvania (24 weeks post menstruation) both have longer deadlines. I'm actually willing to bet that if you try really hard, you can figure out the answer.
@NYCQuestions1976 No they don't. Read your own link.
@goaded They colored Indiana wrong on the map. It doesn't matter though, because it's still a negligible difference (20 weeks to 22 weeks), and both states have the same exceptions (and both have their choice cutoff set later than the Union Of European Socialist Republics). So it doesn't change the fact that the part of the story that claimed the victim needed to travel to Indiana for her abortion was bullshit engineered by far-left liberal abortion activists.
@NYCQuestions1976 No European country would have had a problem performing an abortion on a 10 year old, let alone one who'd been inpregnated by her father, at any time. Prove that the two weeks or state regulations wouldn't have made a difference.
@goaded Really? Then how were you born?
I already proved that they didn't make a difference:
ballotpedia.org/Abortion_regulations_by_state
Even if the two weeks did somehow made a difference (which it didn't), why choose Indiana over Michigan or Pennsylvania? Here's why: A sensible choice cutoff set at 20 or 22 weeks still isn't enough for pro-abortion morons, who want unfettered late-term, third trimester abortions all over the planet. So they get to highlight both Indiana and Ohio by using the victim as a pawn in their obnoxious propaganda agenda, when she never had to leave Ohio for her to get the abortion in the first place, but took her to Indiana for the abortion anyway. Depraved activist assholes.
Oh and by the way, incest is illegal (but with varying degrees of punishment) all over the United States. Want to know where incest ISN'T illegal? Let's see, shall we?
worldpopulationreview.com/.../countries-where-incest-is-legal
Wow. There's a lot of red coloring in a lot of countries all over Europe. Another glass houses moment.
@NYCQuestions1976 Oh, fuck off, I can't be bothered with your nonsense any more. Incest with a 9 year old is illegal everywhere. Abortion for her is not.
@goaded Another lie. You won't be satisfied until unfettered 40 week abortions are legal, and of course funded by the government with taxpayer dollars. Also, don't be mad at me because you live in a backwards country where it's still legal for your maternal grandfather and your father to be the same person. Providing they're both the age of consent, which totally makes it just so so awesome.
ballotpedia.org/Abortion_regulations_by_state
Yep, 74% of the states in the United States have comparable or greater abortion rights than the Union Of European Socialist Republics.
worldpopulationreview.com/.../countries-where-incest-is-legal
Yep, there's a lot of red on that incest map in the Union Of European Socialist Republics. A lot of red. It most certainly explains a lot also.
@NYCQuestions1976 Yes, that is another lie. Why don't you stop?
@goaded Nothing I've posted at any time has been a lie. Let's review:
Currently, 74% of the states (37 of 50) in the United States have comparable or more lenient abortion laws than the Union Of European Socialist Republics. 100% true.
ballotpedia.org/Abortion_regulations_by_state
Incest is 100% legal in a number of countries in Europe, and 100% illegal in 100% of the United States. 100% true.
worldpopulationreview.com/.../countries-where-incest-is-legal
"Welcome To Germany"
"The Land Of Uncle Daddy & Aunt Mommy"
@NYCQuestions1976 "Nothing I've posted at any time has been a lie." That's another one.
@goaded Don't be mad at me just because there's a number of countries in Europe that are better at incest than the United States, where incest is illegal.
Don't be mad at me just because 74% of the states in the United States are comparable or more lenient than the Union Of European Socialist Republics when it comes to abortion laws.
Don't be mad at me just because I was right and warned you that a 9-0 decision was coming.
Don't be mad at me just because socialism and TDS makes your brain soft.
@NYCQuestions1976 I'm not mad at you, I'm just frustrated that you're such a disingenuous liar. If 26% of your country is shit, your country is shit.
@NYCQuestions1976 You'd like it to be, wouldn't you? I pointed out your obvious lie several times. The discussion is about abortion. Your country's law is as restrictive as its worst state's, not as free as it's best.
@goaded No, that's your OPINION, based on your deranged socialism beliefs. Meanwhile, these are FACTS, based on statistics and reality:
74% of the states in the United States have comparable or more lenient abortion laws than the Union Of European Socialist Republics.
Incest at the age of consent is 100% legal in 100% of Germany.
@NYCQuestions1976 Yes, 26% of US states have banned abortion.
@goaded I need to tweak and present the statistics more specifically. The damn map is colored incorrectly based on the table information and bullet points information.
1.) 72% of the states (36 of 50) in the United States have comparable or more lenient abortion laws than the Union Of European Socialist Republics.
Specifically, 4% of the states (2 of 50, Nebraska and North Carolina) in the United States have comparable abortion laws to the Union Of European Socialist Republics (12 weeks).
Specifically, 68% of the states (34 of 50) in the United States have more lenient abortion laws than the Union Of European Socialist Republics.
2.) 28% of the states (14 of 50) in the United States have more restrictive abortion laws than the Union Of European Socialist Republics.
Specifically, 2% of the states (1 of 50, Georgia) in the United States have their choice cutoff set at 6 weeks, which is more restrictive than the Union Of European Socialist Republics.
Specifically, 26% of the states (13 of 50) in the United States have banned abortion at conception (with certain exceptions listed in each state), which is more restrictive than the Union Of European Socialist Republics.
@NYCQuestions1976 just to chime in: Norway, Switzerland, Greenland and parts of the Netherlands are euro countries NOT in the EU. So it’s not some socialist dictatorship you’re labeling it to be.
It’s literally an economic club.
@NYCQuestions1976 are they just “left” of you? Gotta learn perspective, bruh.
@NYCQuestions1976 and you using the term “leftist” is a sign of right wing media de-humanizing your political opponents. MSNBC just calls you guys Republican.
As an American, do you think of Democrats and Republicans, or Liberals and Americans? ↗ (Old, old question.)
"The reason I asked this was that I cam across this little gem from 1981: "I never use the words Democrats and Republicans. It's liberals and Americans." James Watt (Reagan's interior secretary)."
@goaded @OddBeMe It's more like "Americans supporting populism, and far-left liberals and socialists." Even Bill Maher, who would never be mistaken for a conservative or even a centrist, recognizes that an entire wing of the Democratic party has taken a walk completely off the map.
youtube.com/shorts/pT8NULKY5Co?si=erJG7EUk1_xfZcoI
@NYCQuestions1976 "Bill Maher, who would never be mistaken for a conservative or even a centrist" Bullshit.
@NYCQuestions1976 populism Isn’t a good thing. It’s equivalent to pitchfork politics.
and yeah, Maher has gotten quite angry as he’s becoming further irrelevant to conversations. He was buddy buddy with that Milo asshole for godsakes. I think the same of Sam Harris who had a good podcast until he guested Charles Murray and agreed completely with his bullshit.
But regardless, we’re not playing the True Scotsman fallacy. I don’t care what either believe.
@NYCQuestions1976 And what is a classic liberal? This is the Scotsman fallacy and you fell right into it.
And you’re most likely receiving more socialism from unemployment or disability than I’ll ever have.
@OddBeMe Bill Maher hasn't changed his liberal views. A large portion of his party ran off the cliff like lemmings.
I've had a career for over 20 years. I've never been on disability, and have rarely used any unemployment in my lifetime.
Unemployment and disability aren't socialism, as long as they're utilized properly (as safety nets, not carnival rides).
@NYCQuestions1976 your opinion. But someone who watched his shows for years, not always agreed, he’s gone more older conservative. Maybe it’s his age.
But as a true moderate/center, I can see the ways each political party has shifted over the past 20 years. Obama made the GOP fcking crazy. Tea Party. Palin. Trump.
Dems are really about the same as ever. Corporatists, try sometimes ro help the downtrodden…. but it’s not high on their priorities.
@OddBeMe Maher hasn't changed his ideology, and Democrats are not "really about the same as ever". Especially over the last few years. Instead of their primary focus still being on middle-class, blue-collar, unionized workers and their families, Democrats are now more focused on having lack of tolerance for different ideas and opinions, their quest to sensor speech and comedy, trying to cancel anyone who does anything to hurt their feelings, putting more importance on race and sex instead of merit, supporting "equity" instead of "equality", destroying women's sports, and being far more concerned with other countries' borders than our own borders.
@NYCQuestions1976 And we come back to the origins of this question, where Republicans refused to take yes for an answer when they wanted and got a border control law associated with the foreign war funding.
@NYCQuestions1976 Actually repubs tied the Ukraine funding to border corntrol. It was originally gonna be an Israel/Ukraine funding bill.
@OddBeMe So the Democrats had an awful bill, and the Republicans changed it into a slightly less awful bill? Sounds about right, and still unacceptable.
This is how it should be accomplished:
Bill: Border Funding.
Page 1:
For what: Border funding, and nothing else.
How much: $X billion.
When: Now.
Page 2:
Specific details.
Done.
@NYCQuestions1976 And, in the real world...
@NYCQuestions1976 You don’t seem to mind Republican bills with two separate issues attached. Why is this one so important?
@NYCQuestions1976 If you mean the money to aid a democratic ally being invaded by Russia and Biden asking for money to increase border patrols and speed up throwing immigrants who aren't valid asylum seekers out, yes, that takes money.
A filibuster proof majority in the Senate approved a bipartisan bill to do both, the cowardly Republican leadership in the House won't bring it up for a vote.
@NYCQuestions1976 No he can't, Mexico doesn't want it.
@Juxtapose ⬆️ Get a load of THIS response! ⬆️
@goaded Oh no! Let's not annoy Mexico! We wouldn't want to force them to enforce security at their own borders!
Let me ask you a serious question: In your "mind", which is a better country: Mexico, or the United States?
@NYCQuestions1976 Of course you don't think the USA should respect a sovereign country's autonomy, just like Russia doesn't.
@goaded HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! So the United States should care more about Mexico being invaded by illegal immigrants, than illegal immigrants invading the United States? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! You might very well be the all-time DUMBEST person in the history of existence! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
Again, answer the question: Better country: Mexico, or the United States?
@NYCQuestions1976 Are you feeling alright? You seem confused.
@NYCQuestions1976 Of course you're completely wrong. I said that the US doesn't have the right to force another sovereign state to do its will; it's illegal.
@goaded No, that's not what you posted or implied. If Mexico doesn't like "Remain In Mexico", then the answer is for Mexico to properly enforce their border with Belize and Guatemala. Simple solution.
"I said that the US doesn't have the right to force another sovereign state to do its will; it's illegal."
That means the United States and every other country on the planet should stop asking the Diet Soviet Union to end their war with Ukraine, correct?
@NYCQuestions1976 if Canada had drug addictions that formed cartels in the US we’d be quite similar. Maybe Americans are more to blame.
@OddBeMe No, China and Mexico are to blame, and it's not a drug issue. It's a fentanyl issue. Whether someone recreationally uses marijuana (legally), or cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, LSD (not so legally), etcetera, no one in the United States or anywhere else wakes up and thinks, "Boy I can't wait to score some fentanyl today!" The only thing that shit is used for is to thin out drug supplies and increase profits at the expense of thousands of lives. Fentanyl is sinister, and needs to be stopped from getting into this country.
@NYCQuestions1976 "That means the United States and every other country on the planet should stop asking the Diet Soviet Union to end their war with Ukraine, correct? "
Of course not. Russia isn't inside their own territory, they're invaders.
How stupid do you have to pretend to be not to see the difference?
I don't know which is the better country, Mexico at least doesn't have any states that ban abortions. I don't think anyone's tried to steal a presidential election there for quite some time, either.
Reinstate "Remain In Mexico", abolish "Catch And Release". Taxpayer cost: $0.
@NYCQuestions1976 or…allow entry, give them a social security card and earn tax money on their asses.
@OddBeMe Or... no. We need to stop encouraging illegal immigration over legal immigration, and stop the flow of Fentanyl into this country. Bringing back "Remain In Mexico" and ending "Catch And Release" helps accomplish those things. Also, since @goaded suggested that Mexico is just as good as, if not better than, the United States, let them seek asylum there. Another perfect taxpayer-friendly solution.
@NYCQuestions1976 fentanyl is made here. How is it being smuggled in by illegals?
And sure. Make legal immigration a non-clusterfuck and I’ll agree.
@OddBeMe Fentanyl IS coming across our border with Mexico, and originating in China. The cartels use it to cut their drugs and increase their profits.
home.treasury.gov/.../jy1953
Until legal immigration is a non-clusterfuck, the substitute answers in the meantime cannot be leaving the border open and letting illegal immigrants do whatever they want non-stop.
@NYCQuestions1976 The hell are you talking about? The fentanyl crisis is from Pharms and doctors overprescribing. It was a huge scandal with Sackler Pharm…a US company.
@OddBeMe It's clearly pointless arguing with someone who will keep lying about the border being "open".
Republicans chose to do nothing rather than accept "1,500 more border security agents and officers, 100 more immigration judges, 4,300 more asylum officers and new policies “so they resolve cases in six months instead of six years.”".
If it really was a existential threat, they'd have taken what they could get and complained that it wasn't enough.
He's trying to do his job, but Republicans in congress don't want to give him the tools to fix anything so they can complain about it not being fixed.
Biden asked for thousands more border patrol agents on day one of his presidency. The bipartisan deal had thousands more people to help deal with the border and throw people without a valid claim for asylum out "in six months instead of six years".
Republicans said no, then and every other time.
"... just to spite Trump". Sure. Not because it was potentially illegal, or unnecessarily cruel, or anything like that.
"And he did that on day one." No, he didn't. He tried to in February, and SCOTUS kindly ruled that he was allowed to end the program in June 2022, but another Trump judge prevented that.
@Juxtapose Your video: "US federal government is... supposedly also trafficking women directly into the sex trade..."
Is there anything you won't believe?
@OddBeMe That's the Opioid crisis, not the Fentanyl crisis. The Fentanyl that's being cut into marijuana, cocaine, heroin, LSD, methamphetamines, etcetera, is coming from China via Mexico.
@Juxtapose Exactly. Bring back "Remain In Mexico" and stop "Catch And Release". Taxpayer cost: $0. Also, all of the illegal immigrant migrants can just simply seek asylum in Mexico, since @goaded claims that Mexico is just as good, if not better than, the United States.
@goaded It's not illegal to keep out illegal immigrants, you idiot. Also, based on your own answer to my question, they can seek asylum in Mexico. According to you, it's basically the same there as it is here, and it's less traveling for them. Problem solved.
@NYCQuestions1976 the opioid crisis is fentanyl dumbass. It might include other pain killers like codein. But it’s made here and distributed here. Not “smuggled” in by illegals. That’s stupid.
@OddBeMe home.treasury.gov/.../jy1953
"Today, the majority of precursor chemicals for illicitly manufactured fentanyl come from China and are synthesized into fentanyl in Mexico. Fentanyl is then smuggled across the border into the United States. This means fentanyl is not just a public health emergency with devastating human and substantial economic costs."
@NYCQuestions1976 “comments by Janet Yellen”… but props for doing homework!
I did find this DEA pdf. Ports of entry are still major but sure some flows through southern border. Not sure if “fetanyl” is just opium now… but whatevs. I’ll concede to you on that.
But it’s still in demand by Americans. Something we seem to always forget. And doubftul illegal immigrants are the actual mules. Instead of drug cartel associates.
www.dea.gov/.../...n%20the%20United%20States_0.pdf
@OddBeMe "And doubftul illegal immigrants are the actual mules."
Even if we could prove that was 100% true, they're still all intermingled and crossing the same border. That's part of the problem.
Yes I absolutely agree there is definitely a demand for drugs in this country. Especially since so many jurisdictions have decriminalized recreational drug use. However there isn't a demand for fentanyl specifically. Cartels are using fentanyl to cut their drugs to maximize their profits, and it's killing people. That's what makes it so sinister. People should be able to roll a joint on the weekend without having to think about whether or not it's been laced with fentanyl.
@NYCQuestions1976 it’d almost be better if we registered these illegals. Then we’d know who they are. And since their registered, might as well earn tax money off their wages, right?
@NYCQuestions1976 how would we know it’s their turn?
@OddBeMe When you randomly show up and try to cross the border without a proper vetting process, and without passing that proper vetting process, it's not your turn.
You should try treating the entrances to your private property the same way you're expecting a sovereign nation to treat their borders.
@NYCQuestions1976 so how should immigrants do it? Randomly showing up? Lol. Is there a reservation app? Can I get the smoking section?
@NYCQuestions1976 Again…. how should they come here legally? Explain the right way.
@OddBeMe You follow the process to immigrate here legally and wait your turn, or you follow the process to legally seek asylum. You don't sneak over the border and feign asylum, then permanently disappear. Also, since so many liberals believe that Mexico is just as good or even better than the United States, then why don't all of these "asylum" seekers and migrants just seek asylum in Mexico? It makes no sense to travel farther than necessary when the "better option" is closer.
@NYCQuestions1976 what is the process? Where do you start? Serisously. Where should Mexicans running from cartels or Haitians running from their collapsing govt go to “get in line”? Where?
@OddBeMe Actual asylum and not made-up asylum? You apply at the border. Not over the border.
Since you mentioned Mexico and Haiti specifically, if so many liberals here and abroad truly believe that the United States isn't as great as advertised, then why don't Mexicans seek asylum in Belize and Guatemala, and Haitians seek asylum in the Dominican Republic?
@NYCQuestions1976 There’s people starving at the border. So is that on us for fcking up the admin?
@NYCQuestions1976 Sorry please rephrase your answer into a fckin answer. Less partisan the better because I don’t know what basement Biden means. Other than you like alliteration.
People are dying at the sourthern border because our immigration process is a shit show. We don’t have one. On purpose. We could have Ellis island at the southern border and be making billions more in tax earnings.
@OddBeMe You know exactly what Basement Biden means, and it's not the focus of conversation anyway. The point is he can bring back "Remain In Mexico" and stop "Catch And Release" immediately for $0 additional tax dollars, but refuses to do so.
Just because the legal immigration system needs to be improved and streamlined isn't a valid and/or reasonable excuse to just open and ignore the illegal immigration flood gates. Also, there wouldn't be any "death" at the southern border if people would stop trying to cross illegally and feigning needing asylum.
@NYCQuestions1976 I know you don't like the idea of sovereign states, but Mexico would have to agree, and they won't.
@NYCQuestions1976 because American drug addicts buy cartel’s product at massive prices and gives them carte blanche control over the country. So many Mexican lives lost trying to wrench back control from the Zedas.
If we treated all drug addicts in America today, Mexico could be a good country to live in. Maybe we should try it!
@OddBeMe Most people who are currently dying from overdoses in the United States are dying from drugs cut with Fentanyl, and not the specific drug they're using. Since you're claiming that most of the illegal immigrants coming here are Mexican citizens, and Fentanyl comes from China via Mexico, then reinstating "Remain In Mexico" and stopping "Catch And Release" are the perfect solutions for both problems.
@NYCQuestions1976 So what you're saying is that drugs should be decriminalised and only safe, tested, taxed ones sold.
@goaded I've got no problem with recreational drugs being decriminalized. However the issue becomes making sure that the government doesn't screw it up with unnecessary regulations. It's so expensive to get legal marijuana in Colorado that the black market still exists there, which completely undermines the point of decriminalizing recreational drugs in the first place:
www.pbs.org/.../how-colorados-marijuana-legalization-strengthened-the-drugs-black-market
@NYCQuestions1976 I love how you hate illegals bringing in drugs to the US but hate the US regulating unsafe drugs currently made in the US.
@OddBeMe Don't be obtuse. Am I supposed to support illegal immigrants crossing the border like stupid far-left liberals and socialists? Am I supposed to support illegal drugs crossing the border like stupid far-left liberals and socialists? You know damn well what I posted, and you know damn well what I mean. The primary reasons of decriminalizing recreational drug use is to make the unsafe and potentially deadly black market obsolete, and to cut down on arrests for personal recreational drug use. Instead, typical over regulation by the dumb government has the black market thriving, and illegal drug use arrests still occurring because the legal recreational drug market is ridiculously expensive.
@NYCQuestions1976 No, you're supposed to keep pretending that the left supports those things.
@NYCQuestions1976 Nobody supports illegal immigrants crossing the border unchecked. That's the constant propaganda from the right. Not wanting innocent people including valid asylum seekers drowned or shot is not the same.
@goaded If Mexico is just as good as, if not better than, the United States, then why don't all of the illegal immigrants and migrants seek asylum in Mexico? If the illegal immigrants and migrants in question happen to be Mexican, then why don't they just seek asylum in Belize or Guatemala? Also, if the illegal immigrants and migrants are Mexican, then it doesn't matter that Mexico doesn't like "Remain In Mexico", because they're Mexican citizens. Problem solved for $0 additional tax dollars.
@NYCQuestions1976 How is any of that a response to "Nobody supports illegal immigrants crossing the border unchecked. That's the constant propaganda from the right. Not wanting innocent people including valid asylum seekers drowned or shot is not the same."?
@goaded It's a perfectly reasonable response. None of those things would be happening if illegal immigrants weren't trying to cross the border illegally, and if "Remain In Mexico" was reinstated. Also, stop with the "asylum" nonsense. It's an excuse. Very few illegal immigrants qualify for legitimate asylum. Why don't they seek asylum in Mexico?
@NYCQuestions1976 None of what things?
@NYCQuestions1976 funny how right wingers think in absolutes. More climate change destroys islands like Haiti we’re gonna see illegal migrants,
@NYCQuestions1976 you are spouting absolutes about immigrants. When most are fleeing a destructed country.
@OddBeMe. No, I'm not. I've been posting that *most* illegal immigrants aren't legitimately seeking asylum, not *all* of them. Also, why is it an "absolute" that they need to seek asylum here? According to @goaded , Mexico is just as good as, if not better than, the United States. Why don't they seek asylum there? If they're Mexican citizens seeking asylum from Mexico, what's wrong with seeking asylum in Belize and Guatemala? If they're Haitian (since that's the "crisis du jour"), why don't they just seek asylum in the Dominican Republic? It's the same island.
@NYCQuestions1976 what does legit asylum look like? Especially when you’re starving.
@OddBeMe Potential legitimate asylum looks like someone claiming asylum, and then waiting OUTSIDE the United States until they're properly and thoroughly processed and vetted via a court hearing. Illegitimate asylum looks like someone claiming asylum, crossing the border illegally, failing to show up for your court date, and permanently disappearing. There's plenty to eat in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, and the Dominican Republic.
@NYCQuestions1976 you're wasting your breath with them. They are so dedicated to the cause that they will ignore reason.
You can bet your ass they would change their tune if the criminal aliens almost all showed tendencies towards conservatism. It's all about making a new, government dependent blower class that the plantation can manipulate into voting for them.
@Juxtapose It's ridiculous, nonsensical, and borderline insane that they honestly believe that the United States should be more concerned with other country's borders and citizens FIRST before taking care of our own borders and citizens.
@NYCQuestions1976 Maybe it's because Ukraine's borders have really been invaded. By an army.
@NYCQuestions1976 Nobody's driving tanks over US borders. Nobody's raping women and children there. Nobody's annexed Alaska or liberated Texas.

@NYCQuestions1976 Aren't you talking about a number of immigrants equal to the population of NYC? And where are the tanks, drones, missiles, artillery?
@NYCQuestions1976 Sorry: Aren't you talking about a number of illegal immigrants equal to the population of NYC? And where are the tanks, drones, missiles, artillery?
@NYCQuestions1976 Of course they are, but only an idiot would expect no crime from ten million people.
@NYCQuestions1976 So you've got a magic wand, now? How about giving the government the resources to get rid of them as quickly as possible? Legally.
You've got hundreds of millions of unvetted Americans wandering around the country, and they're committing more crimes all the time. How exactly do you "vet" someone to see if they'll kill someone, anyway?
@NYCQuestions1976 So you're denying that they're here, now? Saying you shouldn't have had the problem in the first place is beyond useless.
@goaded The problem was being dealt with properly and efficiently until Basement Biden revoked "Remain In Mexico" and implemented "Catch And Release".
@juxtaposee Apparently you're 100% correct. Their brains are irreversibly broken. There seems to be no other reasonable or logical explanation. They really truly believe that the United States should just ignore or forgive all of the illegal immigrants that are already here, and do nothing about any future illegal immigrants, unless it's tied to spending billions of taxpayer dollars overseas first. It's a level of insanity that can only be property treated with a rubber room or a frontal lobotomy.
@Juxtapose Apparently you're 100% correct.
@NYCQuestions1976 Keep making shit up, why don't you?
@NYCQuestions1976 No. It might be what you mistakenly infer from reasonable comments, but it's not what we've been saying.
@NYCQuestions1976 No, it's not. You don't want solutions to problems, you want magic. You want people to be turned away at the border? Hire enough people to intercept and process them. It's not rocket science. Just don't call for killing desperate people at the border, it's monstrous.
@NYCQuestions1976 "They really truly believe that the United States should just ignore or forgive all of the illegal immigrants that are already here, and do nothing about any future illegal immigrants, unless it's tied to spending billions of taxpayer dollars overseas first. It's a level of insanity that can only be property treated with a rubber room or a frontal lobotomy."
And they also insist that a foreign entity should be prioritized over the United States. World war I was started because of entangling alliances and this is an excellent example of why such alliances fucking suck.
Russia would do nothing to the United States if we just left them the fuck alone. Land disputes overseas are not our concern.
@Juxtapose No, we don't. You're just making shit up.
@Juxtapose Oh, and Russia used to own Alaska.
@goaded no these people who claim to be asylum seekers are spending loads of money to leave plenty of other countries they could survive in safely to live in the United States as an economic opportunity. They are criminal aliens who wish they were smart enough to be legal economic migrants xD
And I don't care about the foreign country's problem.. at all. My country is trillions of dollars in debt and should shut down our military bases all over the world and focus strictly on a defensive military. If some other country gets invaded? Boohoo, have Europe and the rest of the world take care of itself for once.
@Juxtapose I care about Ukraine and can't stand the Diet Soviet Union, but not to the tune of tens of billions of our taxpayer dollars, all while your three very valid and accurate points of us being trillions of dollars in debt, our southern border is being treated like it doesn't matter or exist, and Switzerland continues to get fat off of tax evaders from all around the world while doing nothing about Ukraine themselves, despite being more armed per person than even us.
@goaded Desperate people? Mostly bullshit. Hire more processing people? Possibly, but still not the answer. Reinstating "Remain In Mexico" and abolishing "Catch And Release" are the proper, logical, reasonable, and inexpensive answers to the border problems. Don't waste my valuable time with your "Mexico doesn't want it" nonsensical crap. Most of the illegal immigrants crossing the border are Mexican citizens, so what Mexico "wants" is completely irrelevant. Also, if Mexico is just as good as, if not better than, the United States, then why don't all if these people just seek asylum in Mexico? If they're Mexican citizens, then why don't they just seek asylum in Belize and Guatemala?
@Juxtapose It's awesome that you specifically brought up Switzerland. You just gave me some big-time déjà vu. I asked this question YEARS ago:
Is Switzerland's Neutrality Nothing More Than A Shield Of Immunity For Financial Criminals Committing Tax Evasion From All Over The World? ↗
@NYCQuestions1976 yeah, it's kind of funny how they get to reap the benefits of all this bullshit that fucks over other countries and they get to benefit from the safety that America provides.. yet they do next to nothing to earn it.
Make these countries fight for themselves again.
@Juxtapose All the people from around the world financially feeding Switzerland with their hidden funds are just as responsible as Switzerland itself.
@NYCQuestions1976 Trump himself said that it is not the fault of the people for exploiting a bad system but it is the bad system. If you leave a system available for exploitation then it will forever be exploited regardless of the punishments you dolly out.
@Juxtapose Bingo. Legal tax loopholes. They all use them, all across the political spectrum, and all politicians will never change those legal tax loopholes (even if they talk a good game about closing them), because all of their biggest wealthiest donors all benefit from those legal tax loopholes:
https://youtu.be/YAJCvt9tOYE?si=FuA6Mnz9d0Wz47RK
@NYCQuestions1976 Christ, don't you ever look up facts? "Most of the illegal immigrants crossing the border are Mexican citizens" IS NOT TRUE.
"Until 2012, over 85 percent of migrants whom Border Patrol apprehended were citizens of Mexico. By 2019, that had fallen to 20 percent; Mexican migrants made up 33 percent in fiscal year 2022 (October 2021-September 2022), and 28 percent in October 2022."
www.wola.org/.../
Typical for the right, you look for simple answers to complex questions and then get surprised when they don't work.
@NYCQuestions1976 yeah, the nationality of the criminal aliens is irrelevant.
@Juxtapose Exactly! Why don't Haitians seek asylum in the Dominican Republic? Both countries are on the same island, and the Dominican Republic is doing pretty well for themselves. @goaded claimed (or at least implied) that Mexico is just as good as, if not better than, the United States. So since he also claims that the migrants currently trying to come here illegally are now 70% to 80% non-Mexican citizens, then why don't they just seek asylum in Mexico? Why try to illegally enter the United States, when there are 'better" options? These are reasonable questions, based on @goaded 's "logic". Crickets.
@NYCQuestions1976 I mean hey, if they stayed away from the Mexican drug cartels they would do pretty well in Mexico compared to some of these asshole countries.
@Juxtapose Well, that's the whole point, and the real reason why Mexico doesn't like "Remain In Mexico". It helps chokes off the fentanyl smuggling that China and Mexico both financially rely on. China and Mexico can't intermingle the fentanyl with the illegal immigrants if the illegal immigrants aren't crossing the border basically unchecked.
The democrats border deal was a scam. It was no deal at all.
It was like the covid relief bill that had almost nothing to do with covid at all.
"My side", guess again statist.
Cause it was a scam deal that fixed nothing.
I know you're just here trollimg dude.
Indeed republicans are difficult. But not for a single moment would I believe they'd propose a nonsense deal on the border.
This "deal" was proposed by the Democratic party. It was a compromise that if more than 5000 illegal crossing happened in a one week time frame then the border would automatically be closed until numbers fell. (Cliff notes version)
Let us not forget who opened the floodgates as soon as they came to power. The Democrats have had 3 years to address the issue. Gov Abbot begged for Biden's help to fix the crisis. Instead, Biden opened us up to a human tidal wave and helped facilitate and invasion of the United States.
You can criticize and ridicule republicans as much as you please. I do it too.
But don't pretend this is their doing. Republicans may be stupid at times, but they're patriots. They would never betray their own nation the way Democrats are doing right now.
And still far more competent than Biden's whole cabinet.
I know you're just trolling but I'm genuinely curious to see how long you'll keep this up
Oh I see. You actually believe what you're saying.
In such case I'll bid thee adieù and let you find out for yourself.
Biden wants the border closed so bad that he keeps taking Texas to court to force it OPEN.
i'm pretty upset with the repubs right now. i don't know their endgame. maybe to draft them?
war is coming. i think that biden even commented on the draft coming back
can we only draft the illegals?
no way! but they can fight for us like the slaves did. maybe that's how they earn their citizenship?
i have a different stake in what's going on in mexico. i want america to fight the cartels. that's more important to me than any european conflict.
where is the crack addiction? i thought it was fentanyl?
i'd rather my taxpayer money be spent on the homeless than foreign aid
So…we could help Ukraine become a functioning European democracy…or leave for Russia to swallow up.
Another functioning democracy means another avenue for US markets. You gotta think ahead dude.
And we could house every homeless person by tomorrow if we wanted by hiring them as house sitters for all the foreclosed homes. But we won’t.
the ukraine was doing just fine. but i don't have a problem with russia taking it. such a small country and why does russia want it? no reason. but it's all politics. let's take alaska to make america interested in ukraine again
the war on democracy is very clear to me. the world is in chaos, but i don't support small democracies because they are just as corrupt as ours. and i don't even support my own. so this year will be interesting for sure.
the chaos list is very long, but can be summed up by saying liberal ideology
Maybe they disagree that money given to Ukraine protects the US border.
Why would businesses want the government to drown? If you mean Globocorp they want an obedient government that does what they're told.
Amateurs? More like responsible adults. Once you begin to take responsibility, and not screw yourself over based on how you feel, then we can talk. @OddBeMe @normalice
Just fyi, saying the opposite of reality and then tagging me isn't some clever provocation. I'm only really interested in giving you attention when it appears there is a real chance you are just confused instead of a rage junkie trolling for your next fix. This seems an obvious example of trolling, so..
@normalice my statement stands. Weak comeback…but I understand that it was a strain for you to even think of that.
They don't want to aid the democrat criminal syndicate and the Nazi Ukraine in laundering billions and farming drugs from amphetamine to Xanax
You obviously know nothing about the bill or you are just being disingenuous.
I believe we have a rogue government and justice system highjacked.
kuz of the details
