The Left plays word games. They seek to redefine words and currently they are wanting to redefine 'gender'. Both sex and gender came into English in the 1400's from Latin which meant a division or category. An obvious division or category of people is into those with a penis and testicles and those with breast and vaginas.

I am not going to accept a left wing redefinition of gender. It is important to reject the Left word game because to not do so is to conceded the argument.

Gender means male and female as does sex. Yes there are abnormalities with other than XX and XY chromosomes and hermaprodites but it is highly mistaken to generalize from abnormalities.

Bridges have fallen down but it is a mistake to generalize to bridges are mean't to fall down or that every bridge is in the process of falling down. It depends on what the bridge feels like today.

I think Ben Shapiro makes a good point that there might be a spectrum of more masculine to less masculine men and a spectrum of more feminine women to less feminine women. but that doesn't make for gender fluidity. You can have effeminate men and butch bull dykes but that doesn't make the females and males respectively. Chromosomes don't change depending on how you feel today.

That trans man who was badgering shop staff for male tampons might have taken his need for tampons as a wake up call. I think the biggest reason this has become such a controversial topic is because usually one group of people is arguing gender as a physicality and the other is arguing gender as a mentality.

So far as a mentality goes, I guess woman or man are arbitrary terms with abstract meanings so there's not much of a point in assigning a definition besides a person who's mentality/personality leans toward feminine social constructs.

If we use a biological definition, science is of course very clear about that.

These gender also has a cultural, highly individualized meaning which often seems to go over our heads.

Is the person who wants to identify as the opposite gender a little messed up in the head? Yea, there's definitely something a little different happening upstairs from most people. Is it worth making a big deal out of it? No, not really. It's honestly kinda on the same level as making fun of autistic people to me, or a trauma survivor. Just kinda a hit below the belt for no reason.

I would say a woman is somebody who is an adult and who was born a female. What is a female? A female is somebody who is born with a female reproductive system or XX chromosomes.

People with chromosomes that are not within the usual XX or XY can still have their sex determined. XXY Klinefelter syndromes only affects males and Turner syndrome, a condition that affects only females, results when one of the X chromosomes (sex chromosomes) is missing or partially missing. I think basically if it has a Y chromosome it’s a guy. Please don’t bother bringing up those intersex conditions were people have XY chromosomes but female reproductive organs.
Intersex isn’t the same as being totally male or totally female. Intersex people have both male and female traits and basically are both male and female.

A female is somebody with female chromosomes and is born with a female reproductive system.

Intersex people are called intersex because they are not specifically male or specifically female.

Transgender means a person who identifies or lives their life like the opposite sex they were born as.
