A lot of people on the right think Trump deserves a second term in the white house. The left believes Biden is the only one who can defeat Trump because of 2020. I think this is why it is Trump v Biden again. At least this will be the last time both Trump and Biden run. We will have new candidates in 2028 for both parties.
