Biden? Can anyone give me a real truthful answer on why you are voting for him?

Very simple. He’s not a conservative in 2024, and most importantly, he’s not Trump.

Most conservative social policies turn me off, and a lot of them leave me questioning the moral decency of those who champion them. There’s something about their perception of “The American Dream” that manifests itself in a way that suggests that reaching the top is more important than who you step on to get there, and all the stuff with Social Darwinism energy…. again, it comes down to being able to look myself in the mirror.

That’s kind of the baseline. When you get MAGA involved…. absolutely not. I’ve never seen something so dangerous in this country. Not even the proposed or implemented policies or Trump’s personal character (neither of which I think much of, though), but the cult-like atmosphere around him.

And it’s not even the rallies or the signs or obnoxious supporters, I’m just talking about legitimately brainwashed people (and I say that as respectfully as possible, I want to see these people come back to reality) who are believing anything and everything Trump —who is a HABITUAL liar, especially as it relates to anything tied to money, power, his ego, etc— says and taking it as fact.

“The election was stolen.”

“Illegal immigrants are voting.”

“Joe Biden and the Democrats are behind all of these indictments.”

NONE of these things are true (or at least have not been LEGITIMATELY proven, or even had legitimate evidence provided), yet I hear Trump supporters and even just Republicans in general repeating all of these things as if they were fact. And no one fact checks them in real time, so if you’re gullible and it sounds good enough and confirms what you wanted to hear before he started talking, that’s all they need.

Vivek Ramaswamy pulls the same act, just more polished. 100 lies a minute, but you can’t get a word in edgewise to dispute it, if you can even isolate the rapid-fire lies. And to the uninformed person, he sounds smart. He probably IS smart. But that doesn’t make him genuine or decent or wise or anything else. It just makes him a slick-talker.

But he’s out, and Trump is in. I don’t like typical Republicans (or “RINOs” to MAGA folks🙄), but the MAGA movement represents something incredibly dangerous. Yes, I could detail policies I wouldn’t want to see put into place, but that easy stuff. I’m more afraid of his brand of supporters. Incredibly misinformed people who seem to believe they’re the smart ones who are wise to some kooky conspiracy theory that exists behind the scenes. That’s cute and all, but I deal in reality. But these folks just straight up deny reality. Everything is a conspiracy, everything is rigged against them, everything would be SO good with Republicans in charge but they *just* can’t seem to overcome the corruption of the Democrats. Dang it😖

And even the normal Republicans are held hostage by MAGA right now, because they need their support, despite not necessarily liking Trump. They piss and moan about a supposedly wide open border, literally DAILY, they introduce their own bill to address this alleged problem, but then Trump says no because he doesn’t want this supposed border problem solved on someone else’s watch and rob him of a galvanizing issue to run on, whether the problem is real, imagined, or somewhere in between.

And just seeing interviews with his supporters from his rallies…. holy FUCK. So tragically misinformed, yet so confident that they know everything. But follow-up questions are their Kryptonite. They have no fucking idea —NO FUCKING IDEA— what they’re talking about, other than some elementary-school-ass assessment of the economy or gas prices or world affairs, the information for which they got from a right-wing meme on Facebook, and they think they’re informed. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so sad.

And they come on the internet and find each other and say the things to each other and give reassurance that it’s all true like they want it to be. Honestly would love to see a psychological study done on the whole phenomenon. It’s frightening but fascinating.

Anyway, I see those people, and how loud and active they are, and how easily manipulated they are into at least believing crazy shit, and stuff like Jan 6th (even if it wasn’t a full-blown coup), DOING crazy shit…. this is very, very alarming, and should in no way be fostered to grow. A vote for Trump would be a vote in favor of the growth of what I can’t believe isn’t considered a pretty objectively bad thing.

I’m pretty room temperature about Biden. I know better than all the right wing claims that he’s tanking the economy, or “this never would’ve happened if Trump was here.” But I’m not wowed by him, and he’s a thousand years old, lmao, he could easily die in office or have to step down. I don’t really get the hate for Harris, I assume it’s mostly because she’s a Democrat, a woman, and not white, lmao, but she doesn’t wow me either. This is all a placeholder to hopefully get past the MAGA era, sweep it into the dustbin of history, and move forward into the future without primitive, restrictive, and judgmental, and sometimes bigoted attitudes informing legislation and social norms. If they were running Nikki Haley I might have better shit to do on Election Day, but if it’s Trump…. it’s not even so much him but his army, but if he goes, they go, and I want all of them gone, from the political arena, anyway. So Biden it is. Yay, lmao🥳

I know it’s playing with fire & but I’m thinking about the stock market & if it crashes things go on sale. By voting for that joker if he gets in the market will most likely crash & when it does I buy cheap shares & hold on to them until the next presidency.

I don't know the individuals personally and I don't know the deeper part of the case, but as far as I know and understand it, the situation is this: I don't remember who Trump ran with and won the election, but what you need to know is that life is constantly changing and transforming. As long as time flows, it is not possible otherwise.

Whatever the previous president's problem was, that's why Trump was elected. After the election, in which he won with a high percentage of the reason for his loss - he is already a shameless and narcissistic person - he showed his true face to people by experiencing power poisoning over time, and people changed for this reason.

I can give you a similar example from our own country. Unfortunately, after the country that Atatürk saved and the republic he founded, others sold this country, there are already things such as sabaeans and masons, and neither they nor the traitors among us who cooperated with them.

The CHP tried to radically create the secular environment created by Ataturk because there were threats to the contrary. In terms of service and behavior, this has garnered the hatred of the opposite, and we have become a scourge like the AKP.

I don't know how the situation is with you, but unfortunately, the AKP is a lackey led by a global gang and unfortunately it has always won the elections by fraud. Our country is a country of dictatorship and they are trying to Arabize it. For some reason, we got lucky, and for the first time, the CHP painted half of the map its own red color. The other half is the polar opposite, the part I just mentioned, where the Kurds want to establish autonomy, and the parties that are trying to Arabize the country.

If you want to give me some information about Biden and Trump and before, I'll listen. By the way, I both answered the question and gave an example from us.

In our country, the one who was rude and went was regarded as a "man". Now this is finally officially broken. No one is a fascist and a bully who is making a mess left and right.

If you ask me, either the AKP could not steal the last election or it was deliberately allowed to lose by the global gang.

They played so big in the presidential election that in terms of stealing votes, they either took the municipal elections for granted, ignored them, or gave them on purpose.
