Do girls like patterns (like stripes) or solid colors on a guy?

I have mostly stripes and very few solid colors in my wardrobe.

It depends on your body. Designs are also made to give an illusion of a body shape. Better that you have a good body shape and wear patterns that compliment it. If you're skinny or tall, then you don't want to wear something that makes you taller and skinnier (vertical stripes).

Tall/skinny guy: wear horizontal strips.

Short/fat guy: wear vertical stripes.

I do have vertical stripes and I am skinny (5'11.5" and 126 lbs.), but I've been staying away from solid colors for a while...maybe it's time for a comeback after reading some of these comments.

Solid-- can't really go wrong

Plaid-- HOT. I have a thing for guys in plaid. Don't know why.

Stripes-- I don't like thin stripes like that, but thick stripes look nice

They're all fine, just mix them up, don't wear the same pattern every day. I do like the stripes though. I don't see enough guys wearing stripes.

I like them all...so long as your clothes properly fit you and don't have holes in them it looks good.

Now that you point it out, I guess I like solids more on a guy. I've never liked plaid, and stripes are ok.

i like solids better I like simple on guys. but if you want to change it up a bit too wear stripes and solids =D
