Everyone has a different idea of what constitutes revealing.
Some prudes don't think women should show any skin at all.
Some think not wearing a bra beneath their clothes is obscene.

Why do women dress the way they do?
Most just want to look as good as possible in public.
Some want to show off.
Some want male attention.
Some wear clothes that are comfortable, such as shorts, crop tops, no bra, etc.

It's possible to be wear "revealing" clothes that are cute, lovely, stylish, and even classy. And it's possible to look like a cheap street corner hooker. It depends on a woman's sense of fashion or lack thereof.

I, personally, appreciate attractive women. I think it's great if they look sexy. The female form is beautiful. It doesn't offend me at all. I see it as fine art.

My wife and I used to the boardwalk at the beach. Occasionally, a gorgeous woman in a tiny bikini would roller skate or roller blade past on the bike path. We would watch her approach, then turn to watch her pass and sashay away, look at each other wide-eyed and go "Daaayum!".

There's a difference between revealing skin and wearing revealing clothes.

For example, a woman wearing shorts and a T-shirt on a hot summer day is just trying to be comfortable.

What do you think about women who dress revealingly?

Compare that to a woman wearing a skimpy top and short miniskirt, who is trying to look good for guys, seduction.

Not all women are trying to impress men that dress, revealing some women. Don’t really know how to dress their bodies, especially if they’ve never been that weight before.

Some women fluctuate and it could be difficult. They haven’t taken the time to actually go to the store and look at themselves and do the things that they must look good so it’s not always about men and it’s not always trying to be revealing it’s just they don’t know how to put it together.

What’s your definition of revealing?
Women tend to dress for themselves, not to get a man!
There’s always the small percentage who dress in a certain way because they need validation etc, but that’s different.

Typically she wants attention from men. Or to boost her ego.

If a woman is with a guy she wants to be with forever she's way less likely to go there because she knows if she's doing that he is free to do stuff that attracts other women. Women who don't value their current relationship are more likely to dress like street hookers.

But I do know a couple where I think she is really into her husband and she wears tight yoga type pants a lot. And complains if men notice. Although, I bet she is smiling on the inside.

Anyhow, at my age/experience I have learned to ignore a lot of women so I think less & less about it all every day.

What is "revealingly"? A woman who is wearing a low cut, tight blouse and low rise pants is revealing, and sometimes not considered proper. Yet a woman wearing a bikini at the beach is showing much more, yet is considered appropriate for the beach. Regardless, sometimes the woman is just wearing appropriate clothes and other times she may be trying to show off her body. I don't think either positive or negative about them, though I may find the one with more showing to be attractive and worth my looking more.

that is a horrible thing to say... those who are not used to seeing ankles, in some culture, think that ankles are "too revealing" and falsely accuse she want to seduce men that is a horrible interpretation. revealing is common especialy now in the month of may near June!

I have great respect for them. Why? They are not a hypocrite, did not conceale their beauty and believe. They exercised human rights and freedom according basic human rights charter. The current culture is revealing and exposure skin is positive thing among many nations.  Yes your absolutely right everyone has own perso and choice. Some women can wear whatever they want. But keep in mind ladies, THERE IS A LINE THAT SHOULD NOT BE CROSSED! If you are 5'5 and you weigh 300+ lbs you should not be wearing that skin tight bodysuit! There are some people who want to keep their lunch where it belongs!

I think most women who do it are actually trying to impress other women with their aesthetic appeal. Some may be looking for one specific guy to notice them, a few may enjoy respectful comments from random men like "you are very beautiful" , but I don't know of any women save women of the night (and even they are sometimes choosy) who want any random guy to come up to them and say "hey sugarboobs, you want to come back to my place and suck my dick."
