I cannot argue with you, nor do I want to.
According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_Madrid_CF )...
"In International football, Real Madrid have won a record 33 trophies: a record 15 European Cup/UEFA Champions League titles, a joint record five UEFA Super Cups, two UEFA Cups, a joint record two Latin Cups, a record one Iberoamerican Cup, and a record eight FIFA Club World championships. Madrid was ranked first in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics Club World Ranking for 2000, 2002, 2014, 2017. In UEFA, Madrid ranks first in the all-time club ranking."
Real Madrid's main rival, FC Barcelona, has a storied history, but not quite as good as Real Madrid. According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Barcelona ) ...
"In international club football, [FC Barcelona] has won 22 European and worldwide titles: five UEFA Champions League titles, a record four UEFA Cup Winners' Cups, a joint record five UEFA Super Cups, a record three Inter-Cities Fairs Cups, a joint record two Latin Cups, and three FIFA Club World Cups. Barcelona was ranked first in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics Club World Ranking for 1997, 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2015, and occupies the ninth position on the UEFA club rankings as of May 2023.
I don't like Madrid but I'm still glad they beat Man City. I was rooting for Dortmund today though. But they couldn't hit the ground if they jumped out of a plane and when Madrid took the dvantage they mentally pretty much broke and gave up.

that depends on which criteria you follow...
but... no Real Madrid would ever be match for the Six Championships Barcelona
not that point, nor that criteria, others... yes, there's always numbers and those do count a whole lot
No, this is the greatesdt club in history.

I'm a big Barcelona and Messi fan but obviously Real Madrid are the greatest.
They are not just dominated by recent history like many dynasties in sports but they have deep history and the obvious current success
There's a strong argument to be made that they are. Their performance against Dortmund yesterday was fantastic.
only these players not past madrid teams! brazil teams many years were better.
Well, in any case, congratulations to them for winning the Champions League.
I mean they have the most UCL titles, which shows their class. They don’t play in the most competitive league though, Spain only really has 2 big teams, that said, I think they would still be at the top in any league
No inter Miami The United States squad could destroy them easily with Leo Messi
yes...
... with the help of the UEFA and the referees
that's the reaction of someone who knows nothing about European football
there have been always game-changing errors in football, and almost any time benefited from one or two at least but no team benefited from errors like Real Madrid.
and I just want to clarify something here, don't think I'm saying this out of hate to Real Madrid because I cheer for Barcelona for example or anything like that, in fact I don't have a preferred team, I'm just someone who has been watching European football ever since I was 10 so for like 25 years now.
It's just facts, Real Madrid has always been and will always be the favorite child of UEFA.
let me use one recent example, two years ago 12 teams announced the breakaway super league project, in less than 24 hours 9 teams withdrew because of threat from UEFA and even governments, only 3 remained Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid, the UEFA promised to sanction these teams, but only Juventus got the biggest share of sanctions, Barcelona got little, Real Madrid got nothing, The UEFA claims these teams has done financial wrongdoings, but no one ever investigated Real Madrid's finance, the UEFA would never sanction a team that has the largest fanbase in the world and bring the largest profits to UEFA.
you can see it's not just on the field, favoritism is also outside the field, sadly football has become very political and it's no longer a fair game.
and by the way the FIFA president Gianni Infantino is an Inter Milan fan.
which competition they were excluded from, the champions league? never
financial fair play regulations apply on all except three:
Man City owned by the state of UAE
Paris owned by the state of Qatar
and Real Madrid biggest club in the history of champions league
the first two money influence, while Real it's just good for UEFA if Real has a the biggest chance of winning every year, more profits for all sponsors.
Excluded from the Copa Del Rey.
And once again, Real Madrid won nothing in the Champions League for almost 10 years. During this period, Barcelona enjoyed great success and became the world's most fashionable and financially lucrative new club.
And you seem to have forgotten Berlusconi's AC Milan.
really? Copa Del Rey? what an important exclusion compared to 15 points deduction of Juventus and banning then from this year Champions, for example.
Milan had been penalized too couple of seasons ago for financial fair play and it's no longer owned by Berlusconi.
these ten years you are talking about, Barcelona didn't win more than 3 champions, Real in the last 10 year have won 6, that's twice as much.
and again no authority ever question the finances of Real, they spend millions but do they balance by selling? that's the simplest rule of financial fair play, it doesn't apply on Real.
please understand I'm not attacking Real here, I told you I have no preferred club even, I'm attacking UEFA, the very very corrupt institution, FIFA as well.
this 10 years you are saying that Barcelona became very financially lucrative, it a sponsored by Qatar at that time, a soon Qatar withdrew their support, Barcelona are no longer above the laws.
It's an exclusion all the same and yet it was under Zidane if we follow your logic real is so powerful that it should never have happened.
You can't deny that they Barcelona were the most lucrative and powerful club, they've just recently suffered reprisals but that's because of their colossal debt. Real Madrid also had to sell off a large part of its assets in the 2000s for the same reasons as Barcelona today.
It doesn't change the fact that Berlusconi's misappropriation of funds has also dominated Europe.
when did Milan dominated Europe do you really consider two titles in a row domination, Real won 6 in 10 years!!! what more domination you ant more than that? and now with Mbappe is coming, I bet you Real will dominate for more years to come.
an no you can't consider all penalization the same, no one dare to exclude Real from Champions league, champions league is practically Real's tournament.
exactly I'm talking about this domination since 2014 till today only, before that the game wasn't as political as it is now, and there was more fair competition.
Without checking the stats I'm going to say yes. You could say they are "The Real Thing".
I'll get me coat.
Watching soccer is almost as exciting as watching paint dry
Lol no. There is a club called the National Socialists
Is there a fake Madrid?
This is seriously one of the most hilarious comments I've seen on here! I'm dying...
