The internet helps clowns find other like minded clowns so that they don’t feel like a minority with their lousy words and behavior. When you go out into the real world and you say some nonsense, even if your family and friends are too chickenshit to stand up to you, SOMEONE will call bullshit. Unless you happen to be in a crowd of like minded clowns at the time, you won’t get the social backing you need to stick to your narrative. You’re forced to reconsider and/or slink away because your behavior was antisocial.
That’s why everyone loves social media and protests now. They literally never have to accept alternative thoughts and ideas, let alone reconsider their own. And real facts are in the trash now. Everyone is labeling their narratives “facts” and shutting down real facts that challenge it because nobody in their echo chamber prefers reality to fantasy. The whole world has chosen ignorance.
