Can anyone tell me the "underlying" crime Trump was covering up?

Okay, he was found guilty of falsifying business records to cover up a crime but what crime?

The crime ultimately was he prevented information being released publicly (via a coverup) that may have changed peoples minds about his fitness to be President prior to an election. Falsifying documents on campaign related payments (eg payments to S Daniels) is a crime. Campain payments are made public so media would have asked questions such as "who is this "S Daniels"? "what were the payments for? and so on.

Trump was convicted of falsifying business records. It's a simple conviction and yes, Hillary did the same thing. However, what made Trump's conviction a felony, was he falsified record's to "conceal" another crime. What crime did the jury decide he concealed?

The underlying crime was lying about the payoff being a legal expense when it wasn't. It was trying to cover up breaking campaign finance laws.

Breaking campaign finance laws, was one of THREE crimes he was accused of concealing. Are you saying that's what crime the jury unanimously agreed on?

It was a politically motivated crime. Something like that would never happen in our country as or any other country that is not a Republic.

Obviously, no one can. Why? Because the judge told the jury they had three to pick from and didn't have to be unanimous on any one crime.
