Latinos (or in her case Latina) are most certainty NOT white! I despise racists of any kind, against any race! I have NO idea what Juneteenth is, so I cannot comment on that (and I can look it up myself, I appreciate it, but I don’t want anyone looking it up for me, or spending their time typing it out). I am an immigrant! Although born on US soil (a US military base in Germany), my father is British, and has become a US citizen. My mom is American, and served as a trauma surgeon in the US Army. Living in a state that is majority minority, and majority Immigrant, I’ve noticed that legal immigrants, tend to be more patriotic, and love this country MORE than a LOT of Americans who were born here! I can understand how, as an immigrant, she is sick of people who don’t even own a passport, and who have NEVER even been anywhere else, would dare tell those of us who HAVE lived in other countries, that The US is a terrible country!

I’m also Jewish, and I lost a LOT of family to the worst white suprematist regime to ever exist! I think from third world immigrants, the US is an upgrade, but for European immigrants it's a downgrade.
I've noticed that LEGAL European immigrants, tend to be more critical of the US than legal immigrants from third world countries.

So if we felt that the country we moved to was now worse than where we came from… moving BACK would be no big issue! Most of the Brazilians I met in Chile weren't very nice until they got drunk, but I think most of them were from Rio and Sao Paulo which don't have a good reputation. Because during the World Cup they said you can knock on a stranger's house and they'll let you sleep there😂 Also, some people are nicer in their home countries. I would like to visit Brazil too, but the safest areas are expensive and the current president doesn't like Americans and will require us to provide our bank information to get a visa even just for a layover.
