Trump supporters, honest question, what makes 2024 different from2016 in terms of Trump draining the swamp and ending government/corporate corruption?

Been encountering Trump supporters on social media who say 2024 is going to be different when confronted with the fact Trump failed to drain the swamp and end corruption, and genuinely curious how 2024 will be different when it didn't happen in 2016.

FYI, I'm supporting Kennedy who has a record of fighting corruption and not Biden.

Trump should pick Kennedy as his VP running mate that would be cool. I would say if he gets in there a second time the gloves are coming off cuz he doesn't have to worry about trying to get reelected. He will have no mercy, so many executive orders it'll make their head spin. That's why all the pukes in power are scared of him

Trump's campaign has reached out to Kennedy's campaign multiple time about being his VP, but Kennedy has turned down the offer. I'm guessing part of Kennedy's problem with Trump is he sold out to big pharma when he accepted a million dollars from Pfizer.

People can change their mind though if Kennedy sees his level of support is not even close to Trump's then he may realize that he could be a good vice president than possibly a good president after that. During the Democratic debates in 2020 Harris was attacking Biden but when the writing was on the wall and her support was nil she became bosom buddies with him

True, but I don't for see Kennedy changing unless Biden accepts his no spoiler challenge and a miracle happens and Biden polls better against Trump than Kennedy. Kennedy's support as actually increased since CNN's debate.

We really are supporting the lesser of two evils at this point. But with those two options I'd still rather vote for Trump. Just look at how much better the economy was when he was president.

Normally I'd agree about supporting the lesser of 2 evils, but this year we have Kennedy, who is a viable 3rd option for once. Normally he'd be just like any other 3rd party candidate, but we have 2 very disliked candidates with 70% of voters preferring something different then a repeat of 2020. 2024 is a very interesting election year.

Kennedy right now is out best and last shot at taking on the duopoly. Some of the polls may have you believing Kennedy has little to no support, but a lot of the polling is rigged. I just participated in a political poll yesterday, and the pollster was dead set on my choosing Trump or Biden, and refused to accept my Kennedy vote. Kennedy is the Trump of 2024, in 2016 everyone said Trump had no chance of winning, and now the same things being said for Kennedy.

Trump was naive of the deep state in 2016. Or at least that is the primary argument I hear. I am still on the fence about Trump, but I definitely will not be voting for Biden.

I don't see Trump draining the swamp or ending corruption in his second term, just like I knew he wouldn't when a ran in 2016. In my opinion Kennedy is the clear choice for draining the swamp and ending corruption as he has a long history of successfully suing corrupt corporations and government agencies. What better way to know how the corruption works then to successfully suing corruption.
